Olive Tree Brasserie – St. Annes-On-SeaWent in today, What a fabulous and friendly place, they make you feel really welcome. The food is very good , with generous portions, was offered a free glass of warm mulled wine (wonderful start to Christmas) The biggest pull also is you can bring your dog in. Once inside, you have a beautiful beach view. I will definitely be going back. I would recommend anyone to give it a try, you will not be disappointed.
Cafe On The Pier – St. Annes-On-SeaHadn’t been to Jack’s Bistro in St Annes for quite a while and what a transformation. Out with the rustic French and in with a sophisticated new look. The entrance has been remodelled and leads into a striking Laurent Perrier-branded bar. The restaurant area has been transformed too with clever use of slate and mood lighting. There’s more of a metro wine bar feel and they make the most of it with live music/entertainment every weekend until late. We were there for the monthly Adam & Eve revival night (which clubbers of a certain age will remember fondly) and had a great time as after 10pm the restaurant transformed into more of a bar/club complete with dancing. The menus have been given a makeover too with a new tapas selection meaning you now also have the freedom to mix, match and share dishes. Definitely worth a return visit if you haven’t been to Jack’s for a while.
Jack’s Restaurant & Bar – St. Annes-On-SeaEarly evening meal here midweek and even though there’s a new menu it’s hard to look past the steaks. For me, they’re the best on the Fylde Coast.
Cafe Grand – Grand Hotel – St. Annes-On-SeaBy-eck...! Brill Brunch...! :-D i.e. "A lovely All Day Breakfast...!" inc toast
Water’s Edge Cafe – St. Annes-On-SeaDined at Jacks the other day. Nothing is too much trouble for the manager. Beer (Peroni) and wine were very good. Food tip top as always. It was a bit quiet but to be expected this time of year.
Jack’s Restaurant & Bar – St. Annes-On-SeaWe had a great meal at banthai!
Banthai – St. Annes-On-SeaThey got my order completely wrong, then when I called up to request a replacement, the very rude owner refused any replacement or refund, disgraceful!!!
Heng Yun Chinese – St. Annes-On-SeaI've only been to the Chadwick Hotel for a business breakfast meeting. However their bacon sandwichs are the best of all the hotels we have had our meetings at.
The Chadwick Hotel – St. Annes-On-SeaBest mushrooms I've had for a long time, yummy.
Olivers – St. Annes-On-SeaVisited Thursday 23rd Oct, what a fabulous place, and the staff are fantastic. !! My partner struggled with the super fresh huge delicious éclair. First time she's been quiet for more than half an hour for a long time. This café should be on the Worlds Best Experiences List !!!!!!!!
Cafe On The Pier – St. Annes-On-SeaA party of us had a meal on thursday night at the Grand Hotel in St. Annes. It's a very good hotel and we normally like the food. However we were not impressed with autumn menu this time around. 2 of us found nothing we really wanted. The burger was not very good. Burgers are all the rage these days with mouthwatering options popping up everywhere, so this effort was nowhere near up to scratch. All the portions were fairly small. However the service was a good as usual. We would give it a go another time but not while that particular menu is on.
Cafe Grand – Grand Hotel – St. Annes-On-Sea5 of us (2 adult, 3 children) visited the restaurant last Friday (17/10/14) and were impressed with the traditional atmosphere of the establishment. . The food (& plates) were hot and very tasty; which included the surprise mystery dish (FOC). I think this is a good idea, as I had the opportunity to taste something I would not normally ask for. There was no problem with the drinks and the service was friendly and attentive. At the end of the meal, the children were offered ice cream which was also FOC.
Moghul Tandoori Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaGreat little restaurant in St Annes. I like the look and ambience, feels authentic. I have the best chicken on a skewer I have ever had. Pea soup was tasty. Service needs to be a little warmer and be aware it has no listen as yet. BYO which I love, get yourself a cheeky Levanese Chateaux Musar to accompany the middle eastern fayre.
The Marrakech – St. Annes-On-SeaZen restaurant in St Annes is definitely the best looking Chinese/Thai restaurant in the Fylde Coast and most probably the best food too! Friendly and professional service to match. Will definitely return and we do recommend Zen to our friends.
The Zen Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaStayed in St Annes and went to the Moghul for a meal. It was amazing, great food great decor and great service from Roni & Mr Ali . We had little tasters for free. It was so good we went the next day even better news , we don't need a passport to go back down. 19 09 2014.
Moghul Tandoori Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaJust had our first takeaway from the Marrakech St Annes. It will be the last. Small portions, kofta tagine just floating in oil, barely any chicken in the chicken taggine. Had to go back because they got the order wrong. No rice and no bread. A crap meal.
The Marrakech – St. Annes-On-Sea5 of us attended a family birthday at the Grand Cafe in St Annes. The food and service were very good all round. The Eastern European gentleman behind the bar made a good first impression and his colleagues followed suit. My shrimps and curried fish were very tasty and well presented. All the family commented on the quality of the food. Recommended.
