Reviews in St. Annes-On-Sea

We went on spec after reading the reviews. On entering we where welcomed, a table was prepared and show the seats. The menu has a very good selection. The food was very hot on arrival and very nicely presented. Very highly recommended

I've written one or two reviews on Sugarvine and normally just sit down and type but do that for Greens would be to do it an injustice. From the moment we walked down into the entrance we knew we were in for something very special. Anna and her front of house team are welcoming, unobtrusive and professional. Throughout the meal chilled water is provided to clean the palate from course to course - a very nice touch. The a la carte menu was varied, extensive and very reasonably priced. Presentation is superb but does not mask the quality of the cooking. It is without equal on the Fylde Coast. When you go be prepared to relax and enjoy the whole experience because you will not be disappointed. One final note is the coffee - very often this appears to be seen as an afterthought but not here. It is fresh and the correct temperature and strength. The two of us had starters, mains, puddings and cheese, wine, ports, coffee - £120.00 but don't use that as a guide to the prices as we were pushing the boat out; check out the website, book early and be warned : it is very popular!

Very well cooked food of the highest quality, an excellent range of wines and very friendly staff make this restaurant the star of the Fylde Coast. It easily rates amongst the best Indian style restaurants in the country and is a must try for visitors to St Annes.

I have been coming to Greens for several years. It is one of the best restaurants I know bar none. I have recommended it to many friends who have been equally enchanted

Blimey! The doorstep chicken, bacon and mayonnaise sandwich was good value. It was the biggest sandwich I've ever had, and very moorish. I'll certainly be going back next Wednesday, and trying the corned beef hash looked as it looked fab.

Fantastic place to dine. Very hard to find a hotel that takes as much pride into looking after people who just dine as opposed to guests staying there. Always enjoyed the food, and always enjoyed relaxing in the bar with a coffee after. Just a shame Daniel the barman has now left, he always made our evening.

Sandwiches have the most fillings I've ever seen and are great value for money. The hot specials and soup are always good value too. Need to be early for the hot beef as it sells FAST.

BY THE SEA GREAT FOOD GREAT STAFF

This must be the best Indian restaurant on the Fylde coast (and believe me we've tried most of them). Great variety of dishes, very friendly helpful service, plentiful portions and relaxed atmosphere. (Even my family who didn't like Indian food are now great fans and we've recommended it to many other people who are now all regulars).

My favourite "chippy" anywhere! Love the cafe, or if weather permits take away to the sea front & walk off some calories!

The best restaurant on the Fylde bar none!

The first thing I must say about this place is, Remember to Book, as it gets very busy, We went on a Wednesday night and it was packed out, and because the food was so good I can understand why. Our meals were full of flavour and freshness and the duck Red curry was brill, although it is busy you are never rushed we sat at least an hour after our meal and had coffees and brandy and talked with no pressure from the waitress to vacate the table. Thank you for a wonderful night

It was hubby's birthday last week, so we went to Jacks for "early doors". I have to say the food was excellent as was the whole evening. We did think about the specials and a la carte, but the choice on the set menu was so interesting that we stuck with that one. It is very refreshing to go out for a meal and not have the plate piled up, which can be very overfacing. The wine, the staff, the ambiance all contributed to a really lovely relaxing evening. Even though we were early doors, we not rushed and hurried out - terrific. I have to add that it is one of our favourite restaurants and look forward to the next time.

This is now under new management. My partner picked up Fish And Chips for us and the kids - they were the best I have ever had. Even better than Whealens in Lytham. The chips were perfect, not greasy, cooked to perfection. The fish was fantastic quality - again cooked to perfection. We will be stopping off here every week from now on.

We had a wonderful evening at this busy restaurant, food was great service was great, will be back soon ... Teri

This is the very best Indian restaurant, the food and the service are fantastic. Please do not be put off by the exterior as you wont get a better curry in the North West! Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

SUNDAY LUNCH BUFFET is excellent. Many varieties to choose with. Ingredients are fresh. They change menu depending on the season. I must say the pouch salmon I had was excellent. If you have sweet teeth, you have to come. They have over 10 different cakes and dessert on the table. And the beautiful thing is they keep supplying new cakes all the time.

Excellent restaurant, both for eat-in & take aways. We've eaten in several times & just had our first takeaway - absolutely brilliant - with free delivery too !!
