Tak Ming Canton Kitchen

The best Chinese / Canton takeaway in the area. I've been a customer for six years and never once have I had any reason to complain, I've tried other local restaurants for a bit of variety, but every time I end up going back to Tak Ming. The open kitchen let's you see the high standards of cleanliness, you hardly ever have to wait very long for your food, and it's always delicious.

The Fillet Steak was so tender and tasty and with chips and peas a most enjoyable repast. The Prawn Cocktail to start was even better becaust it was free with a Gazette Offer

As per usual enjoyed the Sweet and Sour King Prawns with fried Rice. The pot of China Tea just completes the meal. Must try one of the other tasty dishes

Greens Bistro

A Saturday night very well spent. Went with friends who had recommended Greens. Excellent choice. 4 starts, 4 mains, 3 desserts, 5, yes 5 bottles of a delicious NZ little number, coffees £180.00 for the 4 of us. The aim of trying to spend more on the wine bill than the food bill was not achieved but we had fun trying. !!Very comfortable surroundings coupled with Excellent service. Would definitely recommend you go...A real treat!

Superb steak & chips on a hot platter at a very reasonable price (£3.45). Excellent choice of real ales, the Boddington's bitter is exceptional. Would fully recommend.

A pleasant evening spent here at the Atrium with friends and although I enjoyed the food I felt it was just a little oversalted for my taste but the menu and quality of the food was of a high standard. An enjoyable evening in upmarket surroundings

This is our Favourite Thai restaurant,we love the place, the food is outstanding and our waitress in her fantastic gold outfit made the evening, she made us feel so welcome, we went when they first opened, and have been back every week since. It? so relaxing and enjoyable.

We were a large rowdy bunch and were dealt with very well by the staff. The food was excellent especially the roast beef and Yorkshire pudding. Great time had by all.

Bay Restaurant

I have visited the Bay Restaurant many times. The food is excellent in quality and well presented and compares very favourably with establishments such as Greens in St Annes (another of my favourites). However, what draws me back to the Bay is the knowledge that I am going to be well looked after by professional staff in an atmosphere where tablecloths and napkins are spotlessly white and heavily starched. This is a 'benchmark' restaurant against which all others should be judged.
