I always enjoy dining at this place, but it is not recommended when the kids are on holiday from school. The parents allow them to run all over the place and you do not enjoy your lunch in peace.

The Seven Stars – StaffordAlthough I'm good at cooking Thai food but I went there for more than three time since I'm in Stafford. The authentic taste of Thai food by Thai chef is a key. Compare with other Thai restaurant such as Thai Edge (Cardiff) Mangosteen (London) or Blue Elephant (London), the service and atmosphere is just acceptable but if you want just to sit down and eat food, this one is recommended. Deep-fried seabass with sweet chilli sauce and Thai seafood salad are fantastic. I know English people don't eat squid but thick and soft meaty squid with garlic and pepper sauce makes me want to go there tomorrow. (^ ^)
Royal Bangkok Thai Restaurant – StaffordI use this place all the time when I’m out and for deliveries they never get your order wrong
Dilshad Balti Restaurant – StaffordFollowing a recent refurbishment, the pub now has a light airy feel and fantastic (although relatively small) beer garden. The food is of a high quality and cooked to perfection. The staff, both bar and waiting are extremely friendly. It is great to find a small village pub which whilst keeping it's original features delivers a modern menu.
The Red Lion Inn – StaffordWe had a family party one Sunday evening and decided to go to one of our favourite restaurants the portobello, once again we had an exceptional meal, The chef ( I believe his name is Andy) was a delight to watch, and the food was excellent. I would thoroughly recommend it
Portobello Italian Restaurant – TamworthA lovely building, with interesting features and stone floors.
The Mill at Worston – StaffordMy wife's favourite restaurant, although the cost was a little expensive by our standards it was excellent value, beer was fantastic and the wine good. It is to be thoroughly recommended. Booking is essential.
Bistro Le Coq – StaffordReally enjoyed the meal the steak was cooked to perfection the service was excellent would recommend
The Saracens Head – StaffordThis pub has recently been refurbed and is now great. It's a buy one get one free and is brilliant value for money. It is suited for families (wacky warehouse attached), couples, family meals. Definitely worth checking out.
The Seven Stars – StaffordWe enjoy an excellent meal prepared by the Head chef Andy which was truly delicious and very fresh, would highly recommend the Portobello.
Portobello Italian Restaurant – TamworthThe staff are very friendly and the atmosphere is good. I would recommend this place to anyone.
The Holmcroft – StaffordA group of 15 of us finished off a great evening of bowling with superb food here. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed a variety of freshly cooked meals including Pizza, Pasta & steak. Highly recommended.
Portobello Italian Restaurant – TamworthA wonderful family atmosphere with most of the staff being of 1 family. Friendly cosy polite and welcoming. A lovely clean pub and nothing is too much for the staff here. Excellent.
Royal Oak The – TamworthGood service. Would recommend.
Red Lion – Tamworthnew room on the back is now better
Royal Oak The – TamworthExcellent value for food and drinks. Entertainment every weekend and quiz night on Tuesdays. Sunday Roast every week which is very good value at £6.00 for all the trimmings. Everything is home cooked and you can really taste the difference from the usual microwave stuff that is available in most places. The have a kids play area which is fenced off from the road, and quite often have a bouncy castle which is free for the kids to use. A real "family" pub, but also good for a bite to eat and lots going on during the weekends. Highly recommended!
Cuckoos Rest – TamworthI eat here regularly and find the staff friendly and sociable. I've never had a less than gorgeous meal here and the portions are always extremely generous.
