We went to La Lupa at the weekend. This was our first time and most of didn't even know about it. The atmosphere was warm and friendly just what you expect of an italian eatery. As there was a big group of us we all ordered different starters and mains all was excellent not a bad word said. The waiting staff was brilliant and catered to our every need. Worth a visit as this is a little hidden gem!

my wife and i visited la lupa twice, the first time was passable, but the second time it was very poor. the minestrone soup tasted sour, and my wife had the halibut which was completly over cooked. my overall impression is that the food was poor. we will not be going back to la lupa again.

Delicious food, excellent service and great value for money. Have visited twice since changed to La Lupa. If you enjoyed Enzo's you will love La Lupa.

We are regulars at Bowerfold Spice, would not go anywhere else. Food, service and ambience all excellent. We are always greeted with a smile and a handshake and the staff are a brilliant - nothing is too much trouble for them. Would highly recommend to anyone.

The new Italian restaurant replacing Aqua is fantastic. The food was divine- especially the steak! This is what Stalybridge has been missing for years. We used to go when it was Enzo's , I am so pleased it is back as an Italian. Five star recommendation!!!

Had a meal here the other day and it was great. The food was very good, the service was excellent and the staff were very friendly and cheerful. They provided a high chair for my 2yr old daughter who loved the attention she got from the staff. I have to say the presentation is 5 * and I will be making it my regular curry eating haunt from now on....... PS the prices are very reasonable too!

Easily the best pub in Tameside, excellent food in great pub surroundings with great service. V busy especially at weekends, recently had an expensive, expansive renovation, you will not be disappointed.

The food here is very good, you won't find better. The restaurant is very clean and modern, obviously they are trying to be a cut above the ?urry-house?and they succeed. Service is okay however the staff are a little cold, not unfriendly, but a smile now and then wouldn't go amiss. Prices are average but you get more for your money here, food great, restaurant new & clean, décor very good. You won? be disappointed.

I have visited the Dog & Partridges endless times, due to food being so authentically Spanish and the Spanish owner being so friendly & nice. You will feel at home as soon as you walk in - you even have a few of the locals having tapas snacks around the bar which is always nice. The menu has a great selection, and i recommend the 'gambas pil pil' - king prawns in chilli garlic, umm!! & definitely try the Chorizo Spanish sausage - this is cooked infront of you on fire!- How authentic can you get! Also don? be put off if you have kids, there is a small kids menu, or there are probably some tapas dishes they would enjoy too. Don? miss out!! I would definitely book at the weekend!

Enjoyed a Christmas party downstairs at the phoenix, place was packed but we were kept busy by the DJ entertaining us, when the food came it was hot very presentable and delicious! Must be hard to keep standards high because as I said earlier there must have been 150 people there, great disco to finish the night off, many thanks.

agreed that if this large restaurant is quiet it can be a little 'too big' BUT !!!!!!! the food is excellent and you get a much different feel when it is busy(fri and sat nights),we love our curry and this is a very good curry house, trust me you will not be disappointed.

Visited here with my husband and a friend as it was one of the few places open on a Monday night. The food was OK but the decor and ambience were sorely lacking ~ to be honest it felt like a conference room ~ Big, White and Blocky with a style that came straight from the nearest Ikea. It was that empty (there was our table of 3 and a table of 2 in at 8pm) that we felt we were in the waiters way. Other than that the food was as mentioned of good quality, well priced and there was plenty of it!

have driven passed this place several times but just thought it was a "pub" trying to do Spanish Tapas that would be microwaved - how wrong can you be!!! Decided to give it a go and once inside knew instantly how wrong I had been! Inside had a very spanish theme and the Tapas menu was excellent. We decided to sit outside and was soon welcomed by Joseph the owner/cook. He made us feel at home and helped us with our selections. We choose several dishes and when they arrived all were excellent and one of the best tapas we had ever had outside of Spain. Lovely restaurant and very friendly staff which a real spanish feel. Only problem was that I was driving and could not try any of the wines but will be going back soon without the car!!! Ange and Gill

This is one of the best restaurants we have been to. The food is absolutely delicious and the staff are so friendly. We had such a good time we will keep going back. The Spanish owner is a great laugh and such a nice man....he will make you feel very welcome. Jacqui and Lianne

Continues to serve excellent food at a very reasonable price. no complaints and i will continue to recommend this place . Definitely worth a visit only 5 mins drive from the motorway. no need to drive into rusholme with this place now firmly established in Tameside.

After several further visits to this great curry restaurant, I have to continue to give it the thumbs up. WITHOUT DOUBT the best in Tameside, v busy on each time we have visited (w/end) but always got in because it? quite a big place. Highly recommended
