Had dinner with friends on Saturday evening. Service including booking process (requested a certain table) was really welcoming and attentive. Food was great as always and atmosphere lively and uplifting! What more do you need! Oh, also great value and really good wine!!

We had the seniors meal. Small portions but Nicely cooked and very enjoyable. Two courses and plenty enough for older people who have smaller appetites . Lovely staff.

Fab food and assistance as always

Ours was a family afternoon meal on Sunday. Four adults four kids age 4 to 13. We have been before and had great food. The food was good this time too. Lovely soup and pate. We asked for the children's meals to arrive with the starters. They did. Good burgers and chicken nuggets. The adult mains unfortunately did not arrive and the kids were then eating pudding. We asked. They arrived. Maybe they had been forgotten. Mains eventually were good. Cheese pie and meat pie the best. Shame the service was not as good. Maybe staff could be more observant? Will go again.

We booked our table for 5pm, a waiter came over to take our drinks and a waitress to take our food order. Both very courteous. Unfortunately, it was 6.20 before we actually got our meal. The service, on this occasion, was very slow and I had to ask where our food was. When it arrived it was piping hot and was lovely. It won't stop me from going again as the food is spot on, just a shame it took so long to be served.

Arrived early but we didn’t have to wait long for a table. As usual, the staff are friendly, polite and helpful and are attentive without being too much. The food was delicious and the portion sizes are great. The staff checked in periodically to see if everything was alright and to see if we needed drinks and we had a really enjoyable experience.

Came to celebrate my mum's 85th birthday. Fabulous food and great service from the friendly staff, including bringing out a birthday cake. My mum had a fabulous time. Thank you!

Had a family meal with 10 of us everyone really enjoyed their food and loved the atmosphere. Staff were very friendly and all our food arrived together. We love the Waggon and Horses and will definitely be back.

Lovely food only comment flatbread was hard.
