Been here many times and will continue to do so which says a lot about the place . Lovely staff excellent food. The only negative comment is that the drinks are way too expensive.

5* Cajun chicken and halloumi wrap is a must. Great service and great food even did a shamrock in my Guinness brilliant thanks guys will be definitely coming back soon

Love the Waggon & Horses. We visit frequently & always enjoy the lovely food, the staff are great & Lisa, the manager, is the best & can’t do enough for you.

We had a family meal for 14 adults and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff were efficient and friendly offering good service. We had pre-ordered the meals so that was good too. No problems at all. The food was plentiful and freshly cooked. The only dish that one guest wasn’t keen on was the Duck, which he said was salty and not much taste otherwise. Having said that we would definitely recommend to future diners. Dining room a little dates but clean.

Great food and great service - could not ask for more. Catered for 10 of us with no fuss and all meals came out hot and at the same time, which is what you want.

This was our first visit and we weren’t disappointed. The staff were friendly and approachable from the moment we walked in and they were accommodating as we arrived 20 minutes late. Service was prompt and were seated and orders taken quickly. We had the Sunday lunch and it was so enjoyable and good value for money. We will definitely be visiting again in the future.

Superb service, beautiful food

Had a lovely evening here last night to celebrate a 90th birthday with family from New Zealand, Canada, Germany and Russia, not to mention locally. Excellent service, good food and value for money. Thank you to the young and very capable staff and Lisa as maitre d'.
