Brilliant meal, the staff are all lovely and food was great.

We have dined here before and found the food to be exceptional. On this visit the food was not on par with this and we found it overall to be just ok. We were disappointed with the food overall on this occasion.

Lovely lunch. Very tasty meal with very good service.

Booked in for lunch, all five of us had starters and main course and everyone thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our visit. The food was of great quality, service prompt and friendly. The ambiance of the restaurant and bar just made it a memorable experience.

Had another wonderful meal on our visit to Stirling, have eaten here before and have never been disappointed, highly recommended.

Had a family evening meal. The food was outstanding, the quality of meat particularly impressive. Lovely lightening and welcoming staff. The waiter who served us was very friendly.

We had lunch on New Year's Day, and it was a wonderful experience. Great food and excellent service made it a perfect day out.

Visited restaurant with my wife and daughter on boxing day food was really good staff we very pleasant and chatty service was good but didn't get the last round of drinks i ordered for the table was Charged for them noticed this after I checked The bill after I made the staff aware of this it was sorted out straight away also the table next to us there was a rather intoxicated person who was rather loud and some of the language he was spirting out was really inappropriate it made us feel very uncomfortable at times his wife intervened to tell him to stop his disgusting language and quiten his tone down he really shouldn't have been allowed in to the restaurant

I had lunch at the hotel. The restaurant area was lovely and well decorated for Xmas. The staff were very friendly. The food was good and I will definitely be back.

Had a wonderful high tea at the golden lion. Very reasonable but great quality. The young lady who served us was very friendly and attentive.

The atmosphere was nice, the food and service was excellent. The waitress was very attentive and a good laugh .

We went for our afternoon tea last Sunday, and I must say, it was quite a disappointment. The staff seemed like they really didn't want to be there... as for the food, the scones were clearly not fresh, and the sandwiches were just mediocre at best. We also had a couple of coffees, but overall, for £60 2 adults 2 kids , it was a letdown.

Fantastic service. The waitresses working made it even better. Polite, friendly and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Even brought a little cake with a candle for the birthday girl. Food was amazing, very good value for money. Definitely be back again soon.

Hi. We are regular visitors to the restaurant. We are regular for a reason. The menu and quality of food is fantastic. It's a lovely place to eat and the service from the staff is second to none. Would recommend to anyone.

This was my second visit to cronies for lunch. Food was delicious and menu was varied. My husband especially liked the homemade soup. Service was excellent friendly and fast. Thank you to Dee and the team. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

This is our second visit we were here last year also . I love this hotel beautiful decor, excellent food and the staff are so helpful. We hope to be back again soon.
