Went for Sunday lunch, greeted warmly and staff were pleasant and efficient, the menu choice was really good and the food amazing, the roast beef was absolutely delicious, definitely recommend it.

The Golden Lion Hotel – StirlingVisited restaurant with my wife and daughter on boxing day food was really good staff we very pleasant and chatty service was good but didn't get the last round of drinks i ordered for the table was Charged for them noticed this after I checked The bill after I made the staff aware of this it was sorted out straight away also the table next to us there was a rather intoxicated person who was rather loud and some of the language he was spirting out was really inappropriate it made us feel very uncomfortable at times his wife intervened to tell him to stop his disgusting language and quiten his tone down he really shouldn't have been allowed in to the restaurant

The staff seemed like they really didn't want to be there... as for the food, the scones were clearly not fresh, and the sandwiches were just mediocre at best. We also had a couple of coffees, but overall, for £60 2 adults 2 kids , it was a letdown.
