Was at golden lion on Friday 17th March for family meal for husbands 70th birthday food and serving was excellent

Had a wonderful meal on Saturday night. The waitress in attendance was lovely and nothing was a bother to her which was a refreshing change to some places we've eaten. Will definitely return soon.

We had a 2 course evening meal in the restaurant. Tremendous food, best meal in a long time, fantastic attentive service . Lovely staff. We will definitely visit again. Highly recommend. Delicious!

Golden Lion is a great place to eat. Fantastic food choices,friendly staff and nice atmosphere.

Lovely afternoon tea, friendly staff , food was good only comment is we asked for more tea and it was obvious the pot had just been filled up with water and no fresh tea added.

as a near local from a village just outside Stirling the Golden Lion and Cronies Restaurant was always going to be my preferred choice for an excellent extended family get together for my belated 60th birthday, great service, lovely meals and all the staff went above and beyond in ensuring everything ran as smooth as clockwork.

We went on Sunday with our daughter who is 6months old ,staff were amazing with her and food was 10/10 great all round .

We did not eat here as we had to cancel our room booking in the hotel, as they gave us a twin room instead of a double bed

This was our second visit to the Golden Lion, food and staff were great on both occasions, we will definitely be back. The only gripe we have is if you want to leave a gratuity for the staff you can't add it to the bill when you pay by card.

First class service and food, ordered high tea been several times good value for money

Great service, tasty food and the refurbishment along with Christmas decorations made it a lovely location for lunch.

Lovely cosy surroundings with the staff going above and beyond to be helpful. In particular Clara was outstanding in her customer service and warmth. A lovely afternoon having Christmas lunch in cosy surroundings.

Nostalgic visit to golden lion for a meal with my 86yr old father. Vegan options brilliant, staff cheery under great pressure. Staff performed above and beyond in order to try and satisfy the demand on the day. Management were not visible to us and should have been out supporting the staff and communicating the expected delays to the customers. The kitchen were producing the food as quickly as they could and it was delicious when it arrived. Communication to customers from management was the only issue on the day.
