We have been to this restaurant a few times and we have never been disappointed both with the food or the staff

Food was nice but seemed a bit chaotic. My friends meal had to be returned as it was full of fat. The other meals were fine.

We have been a number of times to the Golden Lion for a meal and we have never been disappointed. The food has always been well presented and well made. We will be back.

My friend and I had a lovely lunch at the Golden Lion on 29th January. We had not met with each other for a long time so had a lot of catching up to do. The food was lovely and plenty of choice. The staff were lovely and so friendly and helpful. We were asked several times if we needed anything. We had the table for as long as we needed. Ten stars for the excellent food and excellent helpful and welcoming staff. Highly recommended. Thank you.

I had friends staying from Australia and booked High Tea for us. It was lovely and the service was great. Girls really nice and welcoming. Visitors really enjoyed it.

Absolutely gorgeous meal, booked it for my Birthday and it was fantastic.. My 6yr old Grandson commented how much he loved it

We spent 2 days at the Golden Lion Hotel and very impressed with it .Our stay was lovely. rooms spacious ,clean,and warm .Would definitely recommend as the staff very welcoming and nothing was a bother to them.Breakfast and dinner was amazing plenty of choices for meals at a fair price.As a family of six we would certainly come back to stay.

We had a lovely family dinner in Cronies on Christmas eve. The food was very good and the service friendly. The prices are also very reasonable. There were seven of us so a good number of the menu items were ordered and everyone was happy with their choice.

My Partner and I arrived on Sunday, 22/12/24 and we were made feel very welcome. We thoroughly enjoyed a 3 Course Christmas Menu, with very attentive Staff playing their part. The Restaurant was so Festive and immaculate. Indeed, the Hotel itself was very impressive. The Food was excellently prepared and we thoroughly enjoyed a great meal. Needless to say, we are both looking forward to returning in the near future.
