Hubby & I had a three course lunch in this lovely restaurant. Hubby stuck to the traditional soup, steak pie & toffee pudding, hich he loved & I had the chilli prawns with the most delicious dressing I've ever tasted( would love the recipe) then the special of steamed trout with mash done with a creamy leek sauce. Once again I didnt want the meal to end it was WOW! finished off with a sticky toffee. Needless to say, clean plates all round. Chef & staff such a credit to the Golden Lion, we will def make this a more regular meal out. Thankyou xx
