Excellent meal and service , we had the Sunday special which was great value.

We had a wonderful time, as always, at the poynton pakora. The staff and warm and friendly and happy to help you choose the best dishes for your taste. The food is always brilliantly cooked and promptly served. We order the mixed started, the Methi Ghosh and the chicken tikka chom chom (their recommendation on our first visit). The lamb is so tender, the peppers have bite in them. The sauces are flavourful and rich. The garlic naan is great for sitting. It's the perfect curry house.

Seated at 8pm , 8:40 pm before we got 2 poppadoms? Service was so slow which is a shame as food was excellent but to take 1hour 45 mins to get a two course meal once we complained was poor no apologies given !!!!! Such a shame

Lovely staff, nice cool aircon on a very hot night, food was lovely highly recommend.

The garlic chilli sizziling lamb chops to start were absolutely amazing! Charred, savoury garlic, spicy chilli (just the right heat) surrounding sweet, moist, beautifully cooked lamb chops. Highly recommend.

Love coming here! Me and my partner come here for all of our special occasions and date nights. A real family run business, proper home cooked and comforting food. They always remember what we like and are so welcoming.

Meal was excellent. Sadly poor choice of rose wine. Large noise party in restaurant next to us. Love to see people enjoying themselves but we couldn’t hear each other’s conversation at our table. Needed more staff on when busy.

If you can find fault with this place there's something wrong with you.

Enjoyed a lovely date night with my boyfriend last night at Heaton social we had 4 drinks between us, all 10/10 and we will definitely be returning, staff were lovely the only fault I could mention is the music became very loud after a few minutes of being there, struggled to speak over the music but it was still a lovely atmosphere

The food was average. The cocktails were very average. The service was appalling. Had to keep getting up going to the counter for service. Asked for wine and the girl never came back for half an hour. The two staff were rude and unhelpful. When I asked for the service charge to be removed I can’t believe the abuse I was given saying the service was my fault for ordering cocktails! To top it all we left some glasses and on my way home I received a rude sarcastic voice message to which I didn’t reply followed by a rude sarcastic further phone call. Saying ‘it’s your favourite Gnammy Italian restaurant’ unbelievable don’t waste your time or money going there. Hope they read this and refund my money for wasting my Saturday night

Yet again the four of us had a wonderful meal. Thank you so much for the friendly service and excellent food. Looking forward to our next visit.

Delicious food for all and a gluten free menu for me. Amazing! Definitely going back.

Lovely midweek meal with friends. Excellent service as usual. Food extremely good quality. A little pricey but in line with other restaurants serving quality food. Temperature in restaurant was cooler than we would have liked. Will definitely be back.
