We usually pop into the Vine after a weekend walk fr a drink and snacks. If we have a little more time we have a bar meal. This time we had the Turkey and Stuffing sandwich it’s a couple of bowls of chips. The meal was great with fresh bread and good quality fillings. We’ve never had a bad meal at the Vine, we’ll worth a visit if you are tired of the chain pubs.

We had a delicious meal. Staff were very attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is of a traditional pub, with a lovely open fire. Will definitely go again.

This is one of our favourite places. Lovely old pub with great food. The moules were the best I’ve tasted for ages, lovely garlicky creamy sauce. 3 roast beef dinners, the beef is fabulous really cooked to perfection, we always have rare or medium rare. Sorbet, mother in law loves and chocolate torte, great. 2 courses or 3 for a very reasonable price, can’t beat it. Definitely go again.

A Sunday lunch where we all ate differently. I had a traditional turkey lunch. If I'm honest I've had better Sunday lunches with you. Roast potatoes too soft, stuffing hard and no parsnips Hubby had a vegetarian meal (enchilada) which he said it lacked flavour and was very little of it. My vegetarian friend asked for the other veg meal which she was told had sold out (it was only 1pm) so they made something up for her which again lacked flavour. Our other friend kept quiet about his monkfish scampi although in my view there wasn't much. We think today must if been an off day as usually I never have a complaint.

Had a lovely meal at the vine the other day. The food is to a very high standard and is very fancy for a reasonable price. The food is presented well and tasted amazing. The pigeon breast and the haunch of venison were both lovely and me and my partner really enjoy it! It’s always a pleasure coming here made our date perfect. Staff are always welcoming and he atmosphere is always great.

A lovely meal in a proper old-style pub. Thoroughly recommended.

We enjoyed a great lunch at the vine this week . Service was faultless and food was top notch. I would highly recommend it ,we will be back next time we vist our parents in the uk.

Food was really good venison cooked to perfection,service was great nice to see game on the menu will definitely be going again.

Excellent lunch; my wife was particularly pleased with the hake. My sausages were really good.

First time visiting The Vine on Sunday for a traditional roast. It was absolutely lovely. Like a real home cooked dinner. Really tasty and just enough. Will definitely be making this our go to place.

Once again food and service were exemplary anyone not sure whether to try this establishment just try it I promise you won’t be disappointed.

The staff and food at the Vine Inn are brilliant.. food is always of the freshest and meals are always bursting with flavour . Staff are really friendly and attentive. A must to try is Sunday roast and ploughman's lunch .. The pub has a lot of old world charm.. Highly recommended..

Have passed numerous times but today was the first time dining there. What a little gem that is nestled in the most beautiful surroundings. Food was absolutely out of this world and staff were friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be visiting again soon.

The food was excellent and the staff were friendly BUT the was NO disabled toilet for a wheelchair user. When I booked I mentioned that I was bringing a friend in a wheelchair, and I think that should have been mention when booking. There are handrails in the ladies toilet but you cannot access the toilet with a wheelchair user. Sadly we cannot come again.
