Very relaxed atmosphere. Excellent staff. Excellent ale and cider. Menu was totally different to all the samey places around. Not the usual things you get elsewhere but tasty and down to earth food not trying to be too fancy unlike many others. Food was fresh hot and tasty. Would definitely recommend

I made a booking for a friend and I to have a Sunday roast. The food we had was absolutely delicious. The portion sizes were excellent and the atmosphere in the dining area was very pleasant - cosy and light. The 2 course deal is fantastic for the quality of food. I love coming to the Vine and consider it to be one of the very best pubs in the area.

Arranged to meet friends here as it was a half way point between us. As soon as you walked in the door it felt like a proper pub, the sort anyone would be welcome to. As we were eating, we had a table in the dinning room. Lovely clean, ironed table cloth. Good choice of menu and service was warm and friendly. Food was great! Would defo go back!

Food excellent, Venison was succulent and tender. Goulash melted in the mouth. Bread and butter pudding so tasty. Service was wonderful. Always a great meal here

Arrived for our previously booked reservation 2pm told the table was not ready and to take a seat in fact waited 30 mins for the table. Waited another 10mins for order to be taken then a further 50mins for starters to arrive. Continued to wait once again for the mains and despite ordering desserts & coffee just after the next table the coffee was drunk before the dessert arrived!! (The next table got their desserts and had eaten them) Service was appalling at no point was an apology given in fact when a comment was made about the time taken to get dessert the girl laughed! Meanwhile food was being served and eaten in the bar area! No explanation prior to ordering regarding the wait given by any member of staff. Will not be visiting again ver disappointed Room was very cold and even one of the staff had her sleeves pulled down over her hands Witnessed a dog with its head on the table in the restaurant not very good for hygiene

Excellent menu choice. Always a different and interesting menu with great specials. The quality of food is excellent. Service always very friendly and professional. Dog friendly which is great. Very good value for money. Highly recommend.

Fabulous Sunday Lunch. Bella our black lab was treated like a princess very dog friendly venue.Excellent quality food and generous portions.Due to the weather forecast being inaccurate we turned up for our table an hour early and were accommodated.we will be back to this amazing venue with food and service to match.Thank you team vibe .

Lovely lunch at The Vine. Two courses of excellent food. Moules to start, Guinea Fowl to follow. Washed down with a well conditioned beer. No rushing around. Easy parking. What’s not to like?

Really lovely pub, friendly staff and great food. Lovely choice on the menu and our food was all absolutely perfect. I’d highly recommend The Vine to anyone.
