The Ridge – SwindonFood was great and came out quickly but service let it down. Had to find someone and try to get their attention to order after around 20 mins, then same for ordering additional drinks. Waited to pay the bill and ended up going up to the counter to pay as member of staff was chatting with another staff member at the bar.
Fiesta de Cuba – SwindonVery good food although service was a little slow but completely understand as restaurant was extremely busy. Staff friendly and helpful
Fiesta de Cuba – SwindonI recently visited The Ridge and had a really enjoyable experience overall. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was great, helped by music that was played at just the right volume. The customer service was excellent too — Danny in particular was friendly, attentive, and really added to the experience. The only downside was that the restaurant was quite cold, which unfortunately caused the food to cool down quicker than expected. Aside from that, it was a lovely visit, and with a warmer environment it would have been perfect.
The Ridge – SwindonOn the whole pretty good, but disappointed yesterday when we were bought only 2 portions of cauliflower cheese having ordered 4 adult roast dinners. When i queried this with the waitress she said, its just one portion between 2 people so I asked since when as we come to The Ridge most Sundays and have always been served a portion each on every visit. Her response to this was "it depends which chef is cooking and what mood they are in to be honest". The menu is the menu. It states the roasts come with cauliflower cheese and definitely does not state one portion per 2 people. She did go away and come back with 2 more portions which was fine, but you can't chop and change the menu depending on the chefs mood. Other than that, a pleasant visit.
The Ridge – Swindon1. Very slow. We wait 50 min 2. I have asked the waitress to give me desert menu few times. She was talking on the bar with others and I have to remind her. 3. When I order drinks the waitress was very rude and rushing lime we are on race. I felt pressure and nit comfortable. Food was great. But you have to brief your staff how to deal with clients.
Fiesta de Cuba – SwindonFood was was excellent and it was very reasonable. servers were friendly and efficient. I would definitely recommend this to others.
Fiesta de Cuba – SwindonFood was great & good portion size, service was great.
Fiesta de Cuba – SwindonManaged to get a same day booking even though a Sunday. Seated straight away and presented with menus for food and drink. Advised what wasn’t available and left us to look at menus, no hovering here. Came back to take drink orders and asked if we’d chosen our food, which we had - both had a roast 2 4 1 cocktails were served followed by our meals. Drinks chilled and dinners hot and delicious - no complaints. The atmosphere, front of house, waiting staff brilliant. Good music playing not too loud that you have a shouty conversation reminded us how good The Ridge is. Thank you for a lovely afternoon - will be back.
The Ridge – SwindonFood is always great and the waiting staff are friendly. We had the chicken taco salad and my husband had the steak. Great food
Fiesta de Cuba – SwindonWe’re frequent ‘Ridgers’, however we usually have it delivered. We opted to eat in with friends (and our kids in tow) - the food was top drawer (as always), the service was great and food arrived in good time. The waiter was fab with the kids (which is always a relief, when dining with children), attentive and personable. Not sure whether or not he was just very good at his job but came across as genuinely happy to be there, which enhances the dining experience (blonde-ish hair and glasses in case mgmt want to big him up)! Great selection of meals available - all meals were cooked to perfection and decent portion sizes at a very reasonable price. Would highly recommend this place. Defo leading the way on the Swindon-eatery front!
The Ridge – SwindonThe main food (fajitas) was tasty. I liked that there was also a seperate vegan menu. I was disappointed that there wasn't any brownie left, for a Saturday night to be sold out before 7pm when it seemed really quiet. Our server was okay, just no communication between themselves. Twice told no brownies what else did would I like.
Fiesta de Cuba – SwindonFood was good, the house red wine was very acceptable and the service was attentive and very friendly. A quiet Tuesday evening, not many in, so atmosphere wasn't what it might have been (although background music was good and appropriate). Very handy for the Vue cinema, where we were going afterwards. Not our first visit and certainly not our last!
Fiesta de Cuba – SwindonWas quite busy, bar service was a little slow but the lady that took are orders and served us was great. Friendly, helpful had a laugh with us. 8 of us wanting different things and different dietary requirements, she was knowledgeable about the menu. Food was lovely. We'll be back.
The Ridge – SwindonWe had a lovely meal at Fiesta De Cuba last Saturday. The staff were super friendly, the atmosphere was relaxed and the food was delicious. We also enjoyed a few cocktails which were lush as well, so it was a really great evening. Would definitely go again.
Fiesta de Cuba – SwindonHad a lovely evening for my husbands birthday. Service was excellent and food was amazing.
The Ridge – SwindonBooked for my partners birthday meal. Booked for 5, as soon as they opened so we knew it would be quieter. Table was ready for us. Great for allergens (coeliac disease). We mostly ordered tapas and cocktails and the food was perfectly timed for how much we ordered, staff (Demi and Jamie) were great, demi is a real credit to the restaurant and is such a lovely young lady. Food was delicious and defo worth the money. £208 for 6 of us. With at least 8 cocktails, 3 mains and about 15/18 tapas dishes.
