Our first visit to the Freke Arms was excellent. The menu choice was loaded with home cooked dishes. I had the Steak and Mushroom pie with lovely proper mashed potato fresh veg and yummy gravy. Absolutely superb. My wife had the homemade Thai Fishcakes which she loved followed by the once again home made creme brûlée'. All in all an excellent lunch which has endeared us to the user friendly pub for future visits. A very talented chef. Thank you.

I love my steak, salad was lovely the sauce it's something else lovely flavour, the only not so good thing for me was the skin on chips they was overcooked.

Booked a table for my daughter and her friends for her 10th birthday and another table nearby for me, my husband and son. Food was pre-ordered and arrived quickly with no issues. I brought the birthday cake which staff added the candles and topper to and brought out, supplying a knife so that we could serve it up with the children's icecream. Great service from really friendly staff. The girls had a great time and were treated like grown-ups, they loved it. It was quiet for a Sunday but that suited us.

Had a lovely Sunday lunch at the freke. Food was delicious, service was spot on and the decor was beautiful. Would definitely recommend. Think we have found our new favourite!

We had a lovely lunch at the Freke Arms and were given a warm and friendly welcome by the staff. There was a great selection on the menu, making it difficult to choose! We opted for the beetroot and feta burger and the chicken schnitzel, and both meals were excellent. Everything was delicious, well prepared, and thoroughly enjoyable. We had a really pleasant experience and would definitely return. Highly recommended!

Clean, calm environment. It was busy, but we weren’t waiting long. Good portion sizes, polite staff. Poppy kept all customers updated as to what she was doing next, such has entering 4 table orders before making the puddings. It was pleasant as a new location for our family gathering. Able to use blue light card is an added bonus.

This is the first time we had been to the Freke Arms since it re-opened this summer and it didn’t disappoint. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Everything is very reasonable priced too. Will definitely go back
