Panama Hattys Restaurant & Bar – TarporleyWent for a roast dinner with family. I chose the trio of meats. It was delicious and I’m fussy when it comes to roasts. The atmosphere was lovely. Very busy which is a good sign. Highly recommend and I’ll be back to try the rest of the menu.

Panama Hattys Restaurant & Bar – TarporleyGroup of 5 ate at alvanley arms a couple of days ago. While the food was great the service was not. Waitress was indifferent and unhelpful. We asked for soft drinks. 2 large and 1 small. They came but when we asked for more we were told they were all standard size. This was clearly not the case from the size of the glasses. 1 lady wanted half rice half chips with her meal. That was not possible but she could order an extra side dish of chips. She did this but it just seemed unnecessary. The dessert menu was a stained crumpled sheet of paper. And when we asked was ice cream an option ( it was not on the menu) we were grudgingly told yeah we could do that I suppose. We didn’t bother. Several of our group work in hospitality and were stunned at the attitude of the serving staff. Despite the food tasting good we will not be back.
