Disappointed with my over done squid order and a mixed grill order it was over cooked for my taste, I was asked how I would like it cooked, but it wasn't medium well, it was well done. Also one of our party was missing a bed of haggis from the belly pork. The service was fine just let down by the meal

We were served our starters (sharers) and he said he’s be back with plates, we eventually started without because they never came. We had to ask for another drink after half an hour of having empty glasses. Had to ask for new serviettes. Had to ask for the bill and then were waiting a long time for card machine. Food was good apart from chicken wings on sharer, they were terrible

We visited here last night. Our table was booked for 6 o clock. We were greeted by a lovely gentlemen who asked if we would like to enjoy a drink first, which we did. We were handed a menu to have a look at what we would like while we enjoyed a cocktail.. which were DELICIOUS! We ordered the creamy Mushroom starter and the ribs, no words other than "perfect" For main we ordered the sirloin steak, which was one of the nicest steaks I have ever eaten, it was cooked beautifully. We also ordered the chicken fajita loaded fries and my partner really enjoyed those, he said there was so much chicken! For pudding we both ordered the meringue, I had lemon and my partner had pecan, just absolutely stunning. The second we walked in we felt so welcome, the service was second to none and we will be back! Thank you for a lovely evening.

Superb meal as usual for a party of four. A couple of new items on the menu which look really good. New external seating very comfortable especially in the sun shine . New addition, Disabled Facilities are now Stoma aware/ friendly. We will be returning again very soon.

Always enjoying going to Panama Hattys. Never had a bad meal. Such a lovely place, friendly staff, no rush and food is great. My Wife and I have been going since 2017, and we will continue to go. Looking forward to next time already.

First time visiting this beautifully decorated welcoming restaurant. Staff were so friendly and helpful and when we finally decided what we wanted the food was beautiful. Perfectly cooked and the spicing levels just right. Everything was full of flavour and well priced. Will definitely be returning here to try out more of the menu

The third time I have visited. The food has always been excellent and our Sunday lunch this week first class. Good atmosphere as well and reasonably priced.

Booked the Alvanley on a whim on a family visit to Beaston castle. We drove passed it on the way in and thought it looked a nice place to have lunch after the Castle. The location and surrounding area was quiet, peaceful and idilic. There was ample parking and a warm welcome at the pub, service was good and the food was prompt. The food was gorgeous and great value for money. Husband and I had the steak and the fish baguettes and the kids had the children's fish and chips, which were a good portion size for our 11 yr old and 8 yr with a good appetite. We all enjoyed our meals and agreed we’d definitely return again.

Stayed overnight as on a work trip, room was very comfortable and clean. Was booked in for dinner was lovely really enjoyed. Great value for money.

My son and daughter were driving across country to take me for a birthday lunch when they got caught in a roadworks traffic jam 5 miles away. We rang and the staff were very understanding and made us welcome 30 minutes late. All the meals were delicious. They had beef bourguignon and beef lasagne, I had salt and pepper chicken followed by the citron tart. I really enjoyed my birthday lunch and hope to return soon.

Food was fabulous, had the two course Sunday Roast. Really great value and plenty of food. Chicken wings were tasty. Asked for extra gravy which was no problem. Love the fact they cater for everyone... Just had a to wait slightly longer than hoped for our drinks to arrive as they were sat on the bar for a while. Put this down to it being Mothers Day and they were very busy which is a good thing. Will definitely be back for sure. Love it here. Next time I will be trying the cocktails.

The best roast dinner we’ve had in years. Quick service. Good atmosphere and seating. Staff very pleasant. Food great. The beef roast dinner was excellent the meat fell apart and the Yorkshire pudding was fantastic.
