We enjoyed a great evening meal with visiting family on Saturday 3 January. The food, staff and atmosphere were all lovely. We frequently eat here and are never disappointed and it is good to know we can be confident of a great dining experience when we bring visitors along.

Great food and service for New Year’s Eve lunch. We changed our booking twice on the day and the staff were more than happy to accommodate us. The menu choices were lovely and the food hot and tasty. They even had a treat for our pooch. Well done to the Alvanley Arms team.

Having been here before we k ew what to expect. A really pleasant xmas eve atmosphere, pleasant welcoming staff , a fine menu and lovely food. Thanks to the Alvenley Arms.

Very accommodating and friendly when we arrived with a dog and our table was quickly swopped. Fabulous menu, with lots of choice. Our meals were all excellent, tasty and well cooked. We will definitely be back and highly recommend.

A lovely Christmas Eve meal with family everything was perfect

Great Sunday lunch with vegetarian options at the Alvanley Arms. We love that they do fresh vegetables , quality food and good size portions. The pub is warm and cosy with real fires and nicely decorated for Christmas. Friendly helpful staff too.

Lovely and warm on a wet December evening. Good choice of food. I had the cheese and onion pie and my husband had the beef stroganoff and they were both delicious and very good portions. Plates were hot too which is a bonus.

Delicious lunch with friends . We each had two courses and we all enjoyed our meals evidenced by four clean plates . Food and service very good and excellent value for money .
