Fantastic service food was amazing , we love this place

Called in on a Saturday afternoon after not visiting for many years. Both our meals were well presented and tasted great. Staff very welcoming and will be returning. I have awarded 5/5 as we went when the England game was on and so it was very quiet but that was not the restaurants fault.

Lovely meal in great surroundings, a good plateful. Also great that there us an area for dogs with diners. Never had a bad experience, my favourite place!

We attended on Saturday evening, there were three of us in our party. The first impressions were a warm welcoming pub, lovely decor and pleasant and welcoming staff. The menu had something for everyone, and we all thoroughly enjoyed the food. The steak was one of the best tasted in a long time, beautifully cooked and presented and the accompanying chips also excellent. The hanging Greek style kebab was very tasty too. The puddings were also delicious. Top marks for customer service, atmosphere and value. We will definitely be returning.

Really enjoyed the food. Somewhat disappointed that the mini dessert with a hot drink was not on the menu when we dined on the 28th June, this is a real favourite after a good main course.

We've been to the Alvanley Arms a few times, and the food and service have always been excellent. The food & drink are all extremely good value, and of the highest quality. You can always be assured of a warm welcome by all the staff, and will definitely not be disappointed with the choice and Quality of the food - and the range of Beers available. Whether its for a treat or just a good meal, the Alvanley Arms can't be recommended highly enough.

Fantastic visit after a lovely walk. Food was beautiful, had a selection of starters rather than a main and they were all fantastic. The pineapple salsa with the Thai fishcakes was amazing! Loved the decor (as always), service was EXCELLENT. Attentive, visable, happy staff Really enjoyable couple of hours! Took a friend who last visited about 15+ years ago and she was so impressed. Thankyou so much!

Amazing food, the best beef roast! Great value for money.

I booked a table of 4 for Father's Day. I can not believe how large the roast dinners are. They would feed the most hungry person. Half the size was more than enough for me. You defiintely get value fir money. Very tasty and well worth the money, just be prepared to be hungry to get one. I did see a few other dishes on tables and they all looked large portions so great value. The kebabs on skewers looked lovely too. Very welcoming staff with good customer service and such a lovely pub inside. Definitely would go again and highly recommend it.

A lovely and tasty Sunday lunch the staff are freindly the younger members work very hard and very polite. Would definitely recommend a visit to this pub.

Really good again Food fab not overly priced for the area staff slower than usual and not as attentive as previously Decor excellent we have been a few times and I love it
