We booked a table for 8 people as a celebration meal. We chose from both the standard and Sunday lunch menu and all food served was delicious, The atmosphere, and decor at the restaurant is delightful and querky and the attentiveness and service was excellent. Great experience and value for money. We'll be back again soon.

Alvanley Arms – Tarporley4 of us enjoyed a lovely meal yesterday, 3 of us had the small haddock and chips and 1 had the homemade cheese and potato pie. Everything was really tasty, although we would have preferred less chunky chips. Other meals brought out for other customers looked very good too ... the club sanwich looked amazing and could have been shared between 2 of us! (We don't eat as much as we used to!) We thought the food was excellent value for money, but the drinks were rather expensive.
