Over the years we have been here meeting our friends for lunch many times. Our last visit was on Sunday 26th October, again for lunch. It's a lovely place, the staff are friendly and the food is very nice. My wife had liver and onions, I had the chicken Balmoral which was the nicest I have ever had. Our friends had the salt and pepper chicken and steak and ale pie. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals, and will definitely carry on visiting.

We were a party of 6 friends . All meals were delicious from the cheese and onion pie to the gammon . All clean plates . Staff are lovely don’t rush you . Reasonable prices and always comfortable and relaxing .

Went in for early lunch , thought service was quite slow for how quiet it was , we had to ask for menus they didn't have lasagne when we asked but 1/2 hour later served someone with lasagne , the food was just ok , shame as a lovely setting , staff just not interested didn't see a smile out of anybody the girls serving!

Venue = beautiful Food = mediocre Service = shambles Withing the first 5 minutes 3 different members of staff asked us about drinks. Odd but better to have too much service than not enough. However pretty much downhill from there. Mains came, enchiladas were just packed out with big pieces of onion. The chicken in them was quite plain. Guacamole seemed like was from a jar, certainly not made in the restaurant. After finishing the meal, over 20 minutes before someone cleared the table. There seemed plenty of staff, and they all seemed to be working but almost no order as to who was doing what. Got asked about desserts, before we could say we had already looked at the menu online, the man basically cut us off mid sentence and walked off. Orderd dessert from someone else, they were nice. Took a while to get the bill even though lots of staff frantically running around. Bill came with extra items on that we haven't ordered, also prices on the bill didn't match the prices listed on the menu. Judging by the venue, this should have been a brilliant meal, sadly was well below par overall.

Visited for Sunday lunch after a local dog walk. Fantastic food and fantastic service in a very friendly, warm and welcoming environment. Glad that dogs are welcome as my dog was totally spoiled by our fellow diners.

Me and my girlfriend went for the two courses for £22.95 we started with the Nachos and for main we both had the crispy sweet chili beef and rice. The service which we got was amazing I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone. The food was sooooooo tasty and washed down with a cocktail which was also delicious.

Great food, fast service will be visiting again

Ate here on Friday evening. Food wasn’t as nice as usual. Little bit expensive for the quality of food.

I visited for lunch with my elderly mother having read good reviews. The welcome was friendly and the dining area was relatively accessible with walking aids. We were a bit frustrated by the lack of disabled parking slots, we could only see one marked out and it was occupied so it was pot luck. We had also asked for an accessible table when we booked online, but we felt this hadn’t been read we were taken to a table that needed us to go down a step; luckily it wasn’t too much of a drop. As for the food, you can see that the menu is pretty typical pub grub. The key for us was fresh ingredients and good preparation. We were pleased to find that the dishes were tasty and hot, but apart from that nothing too special. Overall, it was an enjoyable meal at a reasonable price. I am happy to recommend it and describe it as above average, but nothing more than that.

We had a lovely meal, celebrating my birthday. The food was delicious and the staff were wonderful. We were not rushed to finish each course and could spend time at the end over coffee and teas. It was a lovely way to celebrate.

Lovely food, and very accommodating

Oh we loved it! The four of us try meet up for tea once a month and every one of us loved the mixed grill, loved the friendly lady with dark hair and perfect boobs who served us ( sorry I didn’t get her name). The starters were great and drinks were good. 4 very happy chaps here and il happily recommend you to friends and family and hope to see you in the future soon!!! Thanks once again
