Lovely restaurant with a nice simple menu of tasty dishes that work well together.

Called in to celebrate ours dons GCSE results - it’s his favourite place to eat celebrate- great pizza, dessert, cocktails, lovely friendly staff

We had a wonderful time last night at Site. The atmosphere, service and food was second to none and in my case, I can confidently say that the pizza was up there with the best I have had. A thoroughly nice evening and good value considering the quality of the food.

Lovely place to eat, pleasant surroundings and atmosphere. Pizza was lovely. A little more choice of toppings would be great. Fabulous friendly staff.

Really enjoyed my lunch at the Border Rose in Walsden. Very tasty fish, chips and peas for under £5! what a bargain! Would recommend.

We often go to the Border Rose both for food and just for a drink. It is probably the best pub for miles around. Anyone saying any different must be mad. The landlord , landlady and the staff are all very welcoming and can't do enough for you. Wonderful place. Try it and you will see.

One of the best meals iv ever had! A group of us were staying on a narrow boat and our usual eatery was closed so we headed to the Border Rose. They had closed the kitchen just as we arrived but kindly opened again just for us! The landlady and her family were lovely warm people who made us feel very welcome! The food was homemade and so tasty! Thank you so much,we will be back!

Going again to Border Rose for Xmas dinner , fantastic, went last year and we live in Skegness, family live in Halifax , but well worth the mileage ,recommend to anyone.

Just getting ready to go once again for lunch at the border rose.We have been going once a week for years and have never had a bad meal,The service is superb and you never have to wait for the meal of your choice.

We visit Boarder rose most sundays for our sunday lunch,and we cannot fault them,the staff are fantastic great food too and we travel from Oldham,today is mothers day and me and my children are haveing a trip over this afternoon,its a great drive and after lunch its a trip over the road to the garden centre,a great day out ! What more could you ask for !

Visited on 8 October 2011 and the food wasn't good. I ordered poached salmon and received rubbery salmon, the lemon slice had seen better days, my husband order mixed grill and this was tough as old boots. Just move to the area and this was our first try - will not be returning

everytime i visit The Tapas Bar, it is a pleasure! The people are always warm and welcoming and The tapas is the best I've ever had!! The lamb in Rioja main course is a must have!!!

Called in for lunch. Prices were low but so was the quality of the cooking. The meat in my meal was dry and overcooked. The member of staff who served us was surly and had clearly never been to charm school. Avoid this place unless you are desperate!

we visit the border rose regular for something to eat including family birthdays and always get value for money with good food and plenty of it

the food is wonderful the staff are very friendly and a great atmosphere, we go every new year and its amazing!!

The Vedas Restaurant in Todmorden has to be the finest cuisine to be found for many miles, the food is absolutely wonderful, cooked to perfection, combined with a light airy atmosphere, superb staff, you'd be pushed to find a warmer welcome and a lovely satisfied feeling at the end of your meal........ well worth a visit or three!
