We visited Hartfields for brunch on Sunday as a table of 5 and it was my dads 80th birthday. My dad ordered pancakes and as the staff had seen my dad opening his birthday cards, his pancake came out with a little candle, it was so lovely. The food was absolutely delicious with fresh, good quality ingredients. The staff are SO friendly and very attentive. Will be sure to go back, lovely atmosphere too. A great little place in the heart of Uckfield.

Been visiting this cafe for some time now and service is always great as is food choice and quality. You sometimes have to wait for your food at peak times but are kept informed of wait times.

its nice to see real home cooked food , reasonably priced too . the pub has been done up and has a real warm and friendly atmosphere. the menu has as the pub grub favorites and some really different things thrown in too.

Shortly after coming home from dinner at Maximum Diner I found myself clinging to the toilet begging for mercy. Between the fat, bald, smelly man up front and the horrible food i wouldn't recommend this restaurant to a rat. food found on the ground in the back of the diner is safer to eat then the food inside.

Have visited Luna several times since discovering Uckfield, and every time the service and food has been superb. Paul, the head waiter/manager is incredibly friendly and genuinely makes each visit very enjoyable.
