British Raj The – UlverstonWe visited the Coot on the Tarn on a Sunday and the place was very busy booking required. We were greeted pleasantly and the service was very good. The setting and surrounding landscaped gardens were exquisite and I would recommend a visit to anybody.
Coot On The Tarn The – UlverstonA good quality restaurant, which we have visited twice in 2004 and 2003. It also appeared to be busy, and everyone enjoying their meals. In the Lakes, this is a Chinese well worth a visit.

The no-nonsense menu of home-made pies/sandwiches/fish & chips/jackets is delicious and the portions VERY generous. The chocolate fudge cake is the best my friends ever tasted. The land lord was very welcoming and friendly. Highly recommended.
