We book here when we visit Barmouth. The food is amazing. Staff very friendly. Beer garden and play area for kids. Easy to book online. We love it!

Good food and good service from staff

We had a great meal here on Saturday night. All the staff were so friendly and welcoming and the food was really nice. We ordered some gyozas, aranchini balls and chicken to start with then food from the specials board. My partner had a mixed grill which was huge and I had beef bourgnion. Both meals were lovely. We ordered desserts but my little boy was getting cranky with teething so I spoke with a lovely young girl who arranged for them to be packaged up for us to take home instead.

Good atmosphere and good food

Lovely Sunday lunch. Good tasty food served hot. A good vibrant atmosphere with welcoming staff and good service.

Lovely Welsh pub restaurant always made welcome. Food very good generous portions especially Sunday lunch. We always come here when we visit the area. Dog friendly which is a bonus

Another fab visit to The Vic for Mother’s Day lunch. There had been a mix up with the booking (online form hadn’t allocated a table) but they sorted us a table straight away anyway. The food was lovely. We say it’s the best roast available in the area. We will be back again.

Sadly one of our meals was inedible the mixed grill. I wrote to the pub and they offered a refund on to my card but I paid cash and as I didn’t live close I was unable to get my refund.

We enjoyed a superb Sunday roast. Lovely food, quick service. Very large portions.

Went to Victoria Inn Tuesday evening with my husband son a family dog Hugo Served by very friendly bar man Waitress was friendly a efficient there were not many staff but they managed the service very well I had a chicken tikka curry that was very tasty My son had a burger which he enjoyed a my husband had a beef pie a chips which he also enjoyed Staff made the dog welcome as usual This is a regular place when we are staying in the area

My family and I (a party of 6 adults) had Sunday lunch at The Victoria Inn on Sunday March 8th. The food was delicious and the service was quick and the staff were friendly and inviting. We'll definitely be back.

We request a booth , but we never get it. We had the large beef dinner 2 dinners came with bowls of veg each which was perfect. However ours came on a small plate which had over cooked runner beans a spoon full of mashed sweed and watery purple cabbage and that was for 2 people. I asked for extra veg on the response of it was an extra charge of £3. Which was a complete rip off because I got exactly the same. This was our go to place fore Sunday dinner , not anymore we will go to the pub further up the road.
