The Victoria Inn – BarmouthWonderful food, brilliant atmosphere. Service was really quick and the people behind the bar were really friendly. Excellent value for money, highly recommended.
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthWe booked a table for 3 to experience something different and enjoyed trying out some very unfamiliar foods . It was a ramen and sushi night and was some of the best sushi we’ve ever tried . None of us are vegan but it was a very interesting experience . The couple who run the Foxglove are fun and locals clearly enjoy the restaurant . Would have been nice to have had a written menu to refer to but we did get good info from them when dishes were brought to the table . A fun night .
Foxglove – BarmouthWonderful Food, recommended
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthFoxglove offers an outstanding culinary experience. When planning our trip to this area of Wales we selected Barmouth based on wanting to visit this restaurant and it didn’t disappoint. Each of the five courses on the set menu was exquisitely prepared and presented by the fantastic chef Luke. Multiple elements, colours, textures and complementary flavours making up each of the dishes. Everything is plant-based, much of it foraged, leading to a welcome opportunity to try new, and some previously unheard of, ingredients. Add to this, a cosy, relaxed environment, outstanding bread, a lovely bottle of wine, the added bonus of a slice of Antonella’s carrot cake (an extra treat for the couple of regulars sitting next to us), and being made to feel completely welcomed as friends chatting away long after bedtime! The meal was one of the most memorable of my life, I strongly recommend you book a table if you are in the area.
Foxglove – BarmouthOur fav place when we are in the village. Always a good atmosphere and great food
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthThis is the best vegan food you will have. Five course set menu which changes depending on the season. Locally sourced and foraged ingredients. The food is also gluten free which for me is a necessity. Every time I have been I have been staggered by the quality of the food. Stunning flavours, perfect presentation, surprising combinations. This restaurant really proves that vegans do not miss out on taste and variety. The couple who run the restaurant are such fun and so generous with the advice and instruction they share. I love this place. I go as often as I can. I bring my friends. I dare you not to fall in love with the place, the food, the owners. Just amazing.
Foxglove – BarmouthTravelled to stay at Llanbedr for a 2nd time in 2 years and always visit the Victoria Inn. Food is brilliant and the atmosphere is great too.

The Victoria Inn – BarmouthExcellent meal, friendly staff and a great atmosphere- highly recommended.
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthEvening with our two daughters and two grandchildren. The two pizza (home made) meals for the g/children were of a good size and quality with a choice of peas or beans. Two panini meals, a lemon sole meal and a ciabata with a choice of pulled beef or pork, chips and dipping gravy. All delivered quickly even though the restaurant was fully booked. Very polite service from start to finish. Good quality food at a reasonable price. We visit regularly and always bring friends when they visit as we know we'll have good food and a friendly welcome.
The Victoria Inn – Barmouthhad supper here with our 3 young grandchildren as we were staying in harlech for 3 nights the welcome , service and food was all excellent. most likely we will return tomorrow evening after our travels.
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthWe had the pleasure of a 5-course meal on a Sunday afternoon. This was without doubt the best vegan meal we've ever had in every possible way. Unusual and interesting foraged ingredients prepared, combined and presented with the utmost attention to detail. All five courses were stunning visually, in taste and in their textures. That this was all vegan and gluten free still blows our minds. Add to that the welcoming nature of the owners and faultless service. It's criminal that Foxglove isn't in the Michelin guide at the very least. Truly a gem of a place. We can't wait to go back.
Foxglove – BarmouthAnother fantastic visit to the Victoria Inn for our anniversary on the 23rd March 2024. Booked a table for 6.30 . Great service and food to match. Not a long wait for food and waitress was very attentive ,apologised for no cutlery on the table and fixed that straight away. Excellent service.
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthFoxglove's 5 course menu is an absolute delight - vegan food that is innovative and inspiring with precise presentation and a joy for the tastebuds. The relaxed vibe with attentive service made for a memorable evening - thank you!
