Very good value for money. Food well presented and staff courteous. Really enjoyed our lunchtime meal.

Food was amazing lovely staff and felt very safe . Covid measures was fantastic.

As always our meal was spot on on Sunday - the roast was delicious! Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff!

Excellent never had poor meal staff always welcoming and pleasant. Our only regret we are a car ride away if we were closer would use as our local thank you

Arranged catch up with friends and can honestly say we had a great night. Food was amazing fresh home cooked and reasonably priced. All in all a great night was had by all and we will certainly be back again to try more of the menu.

Incredibly rude male waiter who had attitude when we asked very politely for a QC so we could order from the table, then was again offended that we asked what our table number was as there was no marking on the table. Seemed to be the only group of people following the 1 way system when going to the toilet, but got stopped by some kind of manager and interrogated about if we had a table or if we’d just walked through the back entrance, we explained we had a table, but he proceeded to follow us all the way through the bar and out to our table to ensure we weren’t lying????? I didn’t see him following anybody else around. Group of 6 and spent over £200 on drinks and food. Only positive was a lovely blonde waitress, everyone else was MISERABLE and rude. Can’t think of anything worse than returning. Drinks are so expensive too, paired with rude service, would not recommend. Value for money and service is a 0 but for some reason the lowest you can rate is 1.

Great food as always

Great food as always no waiting tables were a bit sticking due to cleaning products used but was clean again before ate.

Another lovely tasty meal was had on Saturday .

Lovely food & nice atmosphere, shame there isn’t a play area for the kids but apart from that spot on! Would visit again and recommend to anyone!

Main course was beautiful Pot of tea was lukewarm Assistant manager served us drinks and straws, wearing no mask, or visor and leaning over us or standing millimetres from our sides.

Great meal and service from the team at the Old Smithy. Extensive menu on offer to suit everyone. Food hot and cooked well. nothing too much trouble for the servers who work in a friendly and professional manner. Would recommend and we will certainly be going back

Food was fantastic can’t wait to go back again try some more off the menu me and my partner had tapas it was delicious. Staff friendly couldn’t fault our visit.

A great meal here with family - 4 of us with mains, deserts and drinks. Cannot fault the place - the staff are always lovely, no fuss, no messing about. Good food at friendly prices - it’s a 10 from Len
