Went this eve for my birthday meal, 30.9. However, after Nicolas being recommended by a few of my customers, I have to disagree. I ordered the mussels in garlic and white wine sauce, I expected at least a finger dip bowl with bread. No. I had to ask for bread, and the sauce was dreadful, Elmea reduced. It did not get better. I asked for a bribery med, knowing that places undercooked, I got . A bribery rare to med rare, which is actually what I wanted, good job, hey We did complain nicely, and they did reduce the bill. However, when using get one night off per month, and a birthday eve, it is not acceptable. No, I would not recommend, or try again. Very poor.

This is the best place I have been to eat in a very long time. Fantastic food and fantastic friendly staff. I can not wait to go back again. Would recommend it to everyone

If you like fine dining. Good food nice atmosphere. A Clean restaurant with friendly helpful staff then eat here. I cannot put into words all I wish to say except eat here and you will not be disappointed. Book early though, even as regulars we find it difficult to get a table. You deserve five stars.

This has got to be the best food eaten in a long time. We had the £12.50 deal all of the meal was hot and delicious. The staff were very friendly.

I use my tastecard here all the time and I have to say that it is the best Italian in Liverpool for both food and price. The staff are very nice and the service is fast, don't waste time with Ask Italian or any others when the best llready exists.

Visited Harbour Bar for a Leaving Do on Thursday 29th May. As soon as we got there we noticed an "A Board" outside advising it was a private party which was very appreciative. The 2 ladies serving were lovely. No issues with getting deposit back, would totally recommend this bar for a small private party xx

Gone down hill. Food not up to much. Is getting dated inside looks grubby staff not helpful. Go elsewhere not here. Shame when Jimmy Ho had it, really was the best, always full, now you walk in and get a table, this says it all. Not value for money anymore. Sadly a chip shop offers better food.

What can I say amazing restaurant staff really friendly food is out of this world, the steak is the best I have ever tasted and the halloumi fingers are to die for. Have never had a bad meal here would highly recommend.

Just celebrated my 60th birthday with family and friends at the Royal Hotel and as always it was fantastic. The food was superb and nothing was too much trouble for the waiting staff. A big special thank you to Jeff who always makes you very welcome, why would you want to eat anywhere else?

if you want to wait 3 hours, call up after an hr and half and be spoke to like utter rubbish told " it will be done when its done prob another hour- 2 hours" then this is the place to go!!!!!

Amazing food at excellent prices. So different but suitable for all ages. The venue is pristine an the service excellent.Taking all our family back on 30th December to celebrate our sons Birthday. Run by a Gurkha an his wife so the named restaurant is apt.Recommend it to anyone who likes to try traditional Nepalese food.Best restaurant in South road by far .

I was wary to book this venue after reading the previous review. After seeing the venue and seeing it myself I loved the venue and was assured it was under new management, had a great time at my birthday and would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a venue in or around the Crosby area.

I was in the area on business and found Nicolas via Tastecard. Both the food and the service were excellent and the atmosphere was friendly. I would certainly recommend it and will eat there again.

Ate there for the very 1st time last night, and it was absolutely gorgeous, i only got a beef Korma, a didnt want it to end haha, lovley service, food and Decor, cant wait to go again x

After an enjoyable night out with friends we thought we would tootle along to the popular hang out the harbour bar, BIG MISTAKE! After not being able to find a seat and being bumped into by white trash not once not twice but three times we then proceeded to the bar to purchase some beverages, what happened next I never expected! The inflation of the economy is understandable however an eight pound price tag for a shite vodka and red bull which was actually vodkat and boost I was astounded to find out on later research that for the nifty total of twelve pound I could purchase my very own bottle of it, upon completion of our drinks we bought another two but this time as singles and it still came to an astonishing six pound, not satisfied or happy with either the staff, customers, music or the beverages, I will most likely be returning because that's were loads of people go however next time I hope that the huge shit that clogged up the middle girls toilet is gone, that was a dirty currpy poop.
