The Prince George – WatfordA group of us had an enjoyable lunch in this S African themed pub. Their borewors beef and lamb sausages were tasty and hearty as was their spiced chicken with excellent double fried chips. One of us had a vegetable poties which is a kind of dumpling stew, again tasty. Clearly care was taken with cooking and presentation. Generous servings meant no room for dessert. Very pleasant staff made up for a certain lack of atmosphere. which was possibly due to there being few other people. It probably feels quite different at busier times. Only downside- restricted parking. A couple of us already plan a return lunch. Glad we tried it.

The Royal Oak Watford Heath – WatfordWe had a wake for my dad in November. Everyone made it so stress free (obviously it's an emotional time). Hosts amazing. Food perfect, just kept coming as if by magic. Bar staff friendly and efficient Thank you all for helping us say goodbye to my dad.
The Royal Oak Watford Heath – WatfordGreat Food, cozy pub atmosphere and friendly service by the team. The Durban Meat Curry is the best Meat curry I have ever tasted.
The Royal Oak Watford Heath – WatfordA rather cramped dining area which overall did not spoil the excellent Sunday pork and lamb roast with a good selection of seasonal vegetables. Service was attentive and efficient.

The Royal Oak Watford Heath – WatfordAbsolutely superb. Starters were amazing and staff friendly.
The Royal Oak Watford Heath – WatfordWent for a Sunday quick lunch, service was very slow and took nearly an hour for our food to arrive. We asked for the kids food to be bought out quickly but this was ignored. Also sat opposite a very loud group literally shouting at each other (not the venues fault of course). Food was fine but very overpriced... I had a veg curry for £13, but it turned out to be a very average potato curry, tasted a bit like a supermarket ready meal tbh. Quite disappointed with the whole experience
The Royal Oak Watford Heath – WatfordAbsolutely bloody lovely. Best roast in Bushey along with the Horse and Chains.
