We enjoyed a delicious dinner at Goodfellows in April 2022. The food was really excellent, and service could not have been better. Thoroughly recommended.

Superb lunch and thoroughly delicious range of food

Absolutely delicious, as always! The tasting menu is unreal, the food always cooked to perfection. Loved it, one of my favourite restaurants, will be back again soon.

Lovely meal and atmosphere. As good now as it ever was.

The best meal I have had in a long time and at very reasonable prices. It is a shame we aren't local as we would be regulars. Very pleasant, attentive but unobtrusive staff, and well presented fabulous tasting food. It definitely was a Good Friday for us. A great experience from start to finish.

Outstanding dinner

Pre booking, arrival, and throughout the meal the service was excellent. The ambience good, busy but not too noisy. As far as the food was concerned, it was excellent. We love seafood and we were treated to lovely tasty and well presented food, by lovely staff.

Once again we had a fantastic three course lunch at Goodfellows .Having been there a number of times now i can honestly say each plate of food is delicious and also excellent service .

We have been visiting Goodfellows for many years. The food is always excellent and our recent visit was no exception. As always the fish was cooked to perfection and the pastries were as good to eat as they were to look at. We noticed on this occasion Mr Goodfellow was finding the time to bring some dishes to the table himself this is a lovely touch and much appreciated.

It can be difficult to find somewhere to eat that ticks all the boxes. Good fellows met our expectations and beyond on all counts. Thank you
