Very good food and service. Why was it so quiet on a Saturday evening? The folk of WK should try this restaurant!

Very nice mothers day beef. Good service. Dogs allowed makes a big difference too.

Excellent meal

A few friends & I meet for Breakfast/brunch once a month & we have been coming to Pickled Walnut for a few months now. We have always been welcomed beautifully, we have a nice round table where we can all have a catch up, the food has always been good, have booked for the next two months- lovely atmosphere.

Visited the ‘Walnut’ for the first time in the evening, on a Friday. Lovely welcome and friendly atmosphere. Service was good and staff helpful. Menu was small and all the better for it . Delicious well cooked food. Very good value for money too. Will definitely recommend this understated restaurant. Well done and thanks to everyone at the Pickled Walnut.

Great Sunday roasts! I had the nut roast and couldn't believe the variety of veg it was served with. Ate every last bit!

Went for a Sunday morning breakfast and had booked a table. Table was ready when arrived and service was quick. Food was well cooked and present nicely

Lovely evening last night with the Pickles! New menu was really taster and we think the taster wine offering was fabulous! Excellent service too.

We came for bar bites and drinks on Christmas Eve and the food was lovely. The staff are really welcoming and it was a really nice evening. Definitely recommend

Lovely evening meal table for two Excellent quality food and service

We shared a selection from the starter menu. More than enough food & great value. Beetroot salad, arancini & seafood sharing platter! Really fresh seafood & beetroot salad were highlights. 1 waiter very experienced & professional while another must have been new. Lovely atmosphere. Surprised not more people. We will return:)

Excellent food (again) and really nice wine but hardly anyone in restaurant and very cold - even had to put my coat on ! I don't want to eat in the cold so wont be back until warmer. Staff stood around but did their best, good service.

Not impressed, On arrival we were shown to our table and asked straight away, what would you like to drink. Menus arrived and asked again what would you like to drink . Ordered 2 special with 2 side orders, waited over 35mins, specials arrived but no side orders, chef forgot to cook them, food was look warm, had eaten half the meal when the sides arrived, It will be along time before we return.

Lovely food, well presented. Good varied menu for starters and main courses but dessert menu is quite restricted. Restaurant is nicely set out and atmosphere, lighting etc all good. Was quiet on both nights we visited which is a shame for such a nice restaurant

Unfortunately the food was very basic and not very nice.
