Excellent service and food. Food is good quality and portions are larger than average with a good choice. Thoroughly enjoyed our family dinner.

Went on Saturday PM, had booked. Sat us near the door and it was really cold, we ended up putting coats on to eat in. The lady who served us was pleasant. There is a very small afternoon menu of 3 starters and 3 mains. One of the starters was soup but they had none!! The food was hot and pretty good. After our mains no one came back to us and our waitress appeared to be on a break so we had quite a wait trying to get coffee. Asked for an Irish coffee, they came back saying no double cream. A bit astonishing in a restaurant! A lovely place, clean and great location but not very well run based on our first experience. There just seemed no genuine care at all as to whether we were satisfied customers.

Amazing food , nice big portions, presented well aswell the staff were very friendly only thing was we was sat next to a very roudy table with kids running around like crazy but no fault of the restaurants

Absolutely fantastic night, we arrived 20 mins early, we was seated straight away even though the restaurant was full. The waiting staff quickly took drink and food orders,. Food was beautiful. Serve red hot and very good portions. Waiting staff very friendly, nothing was to much trouble.

Visited on Sunday 26th. We didn’t have a table booked but when we walked in the place was dead with only a few tables taken. We asked for a table of 2 & the young lad said behind the bar that they were fully booked and they weren’t taking walk ins. We went to leave & I looked to see if I could book online and there was time slots available every 15 minutes all day. So I booked and went back in & they managed to seat us straight away funnily enough with all the empty tables they had! We waited for 20 minutes for someone to come over and take our order so we ended up going to the bar & someone came over. Whilst eating our main meal there was a couple of staff on their breaks and the chef said he couldn’t believe how dead they where today! I’m not surprised when they’re turning people away because apparently they’re ‘fully booked’ the food is really nice but the service is shocking, run by kids. It’s a shame it could be such a good place but let down by the front of house team.

Good food somewhat spoiled by persons vaping at the next table. Quite loud and intimidating so nothing was said to them by me and my companion. We are non smokers or vapers so found it unbearable Email sent to management

I visited on the 24th June with 2 of my daughters 1 having additional needs they gave us a quiet corner. The food and service was fantastic. The portion sizes are very generous and the prices are very cheap. Will definatly be returning soon.

Hi We attended the boathouse 22-06-22 at 1415hrs Your place was spotless staff very nice toilets super clean Food was OK but Between courses there was so much of a wait we nearly left We actually waited 40 mins for the 3rd and final course ( ice cream ) This is not a complaint but a we travelled a long way so slight disappointment We will come again soon , My son and his wife visit allot and he’s nothing but praise for the boathouse So thanks ,

We visited on the 18th June for a birthday celebration and the food and service was impeccable. The portion sizes are huge and the prices are extremely reasonable for the quality. The cocktails are extremely good also! Joanna our waitress was attentive and polite and she arranged a little birthday suprise ☺️ I will definitely recommend and definitely will be returning

We went for a meal for Fathers Day on Sunday. It was first class, the food was amazing and really good portions. The staff were lovely especially our waitress who was soo friendly and nothing was too much. Will definitely be visiting again soon.

We had a table for 6 booked on a Friday evening, service and food was wonderful, nothing was too much trouble for the hard working people there. We’ll definitely be visiting again

Love this place. Took some school friends last night who had never been and they were amazed by the quality if food snd the portion size of the early bird menu. Lovely attentive and friendly staff and I am sure that, just like me, these people will re-visit with their own families. Definitely a 5* establishment.
