Absolutely fantastic food and service

The food was gorgeous, really good value for money and we were even late for our reservation but they were very accomodating! We did have to wait a while to get our order in but the waitress appologised and we could see that they were busy so it wasn't a big issue! Very nice visit.

The meal was fantastic as always as we have been here a few times. Great value for money as were always stuffed when we leave. The staff was really welcoming and friendly. We always have to have cocktails when we go. Our favourite restaurant in wigan

Always top food here. Iv been around 10 times since moving to wigan in 2019. (Now jan 22). Each and every time always tastey food. Cocktails are amazing here too. Number 1 restaurant in Wigan in my opinion. Thanks. George & Beth

We had a really lovely birthday celebration meal at the Boathouse last night! The food was absolutely delicious and service was good to a point… The only thing was that nobody came to take our dessert orders for a very long time despite us trying to get the attention of the staff, this resulted in us deciding not to get dessert and just going to the bar to pay the bill, therefore staff could be a little more attentive but other than that a really nice meal and we would come back!

Lovely restaurant! Food was delicious, we were spoilt for choice on what to pick. I think we had eyes too big for our belly’s because after our amazing starters (we split the Mexican starter between 5 of us alongside a portion of Nachos and 2 lots of halloumi sticks), we couldn’t finish our mains unfortunately… which was a shame as the food really was delicious. We were regularly stock on drinks. I tried the mock tails as I’m currently pregnant. But I will definitely be revisiting to make my way through the cocktail menu once baby is here! Plus we’re eager to try other bits on the menu! We’ve already recommended to friends and family too!

Very disappointed. Waited an hour for starters. When the main courses arrived, three of the four dishes were lukewarm, and the pasta dishes had dried up. Perhaps the main meals had been kept on the hot plate because the starters had been forgotten ? The waitress asked whether everything was alright and before I could reply , she rushed off . When she did return and I told her of my disappointment she just said that she would let the chef know. And then when she came with the bill, she asked again whether everything was alright . She obviously hadn’t listened to me or told the chef of my disappointment. We won’t be rushing back.

absolutely gorgeous food and cocktails! food was a good portion size, well presented, hot and fresh and tasted amazing! all food and drinks were good value for money and the staff were super kind, helpful and attentive. never left us waiting and nothing was too much to ask for. amazing food, drinks, atmosphere and service!! 10/10 will definitely be going again :))

Excellent food even with fussy teenage boys! Service was very efficient and friendly. We had a lovely Polish lady, sorry don't know your name! Food portions are really big. Even my son couldn't fit in a dessert. Had a great time celebrating my birthday in a very pleasant atmosphere. Will return soon :)
