Saturday evening meal for four, and an outstanding experience!!! Menu is not the biggest, but this really is a plus, because the range of meals covered is thought out wonderfully. The decor and overall ambiance is beautiful, and the staff were delightful. The food was truly excellent and portion sizes were just the large size of perfect. Whoever the chef is really knows their stuff, and we will certainly be returning. Recommended on all levels..

Sadly, not impressed!! Staff had attitude problems !! Booked specifically for a birthday knowing one item on the menu would be liked, was lied to about why it wasn’t available that night, so we paid for our drinks and went elsewhere and had lovely meal with great staff and service

The staff were very pleasant and attentive. Wine prices very reasonable for a restaurant. The food was delicious. Had the fully loaded garlic bread, as we didn’t want a starter, but wanted something to share. It certainly hit the spot! Then I had the jambalaya, very tasty and delicious, and they were very generous with the prawns. Would definitely go again

The lasagne was disgusting, over cooked well actually burnt

Papa luigis last night was incredible, food was very tasty came quickly and was piping hot on the plate, really enjoyed my evening as the staff are so lovely helpful and bubbly.

Excellent experience from start to finish. The food is amazing. The service is fantastic, not too over attentive but always someone there if you need anything. The atmosphere is great. We were sat near a very boisterous table but it didn’t detract from our enjoyment at all. The portion sizes are very generous, but doggy bags are available in case you can’t go the distance. The menu is very varied for TexMex. Even the pickiest of diners would find something. The drinks menu is also quite extensive with some very fruity cocktails and mocktails to standard bar drinks and coffee. All in all I can’t fault it for anything. This was out first post covid venture out and it was a great way to break the ice. We WILL be back.

Great service and fantastic food. We have eaten here a few times, never been able to finish a meal yet as the portions are massive. Would recommend.

Great service and excellent food at the Fox.

Went here for the first time and it was lovely. The staff were super friendly especially the Italian barmen, the food was scrumptious and definitely value for money as we got the early bird 3 course for £15 and the portions were big, no lesser sized because of the deal. I would definitely go back and highly recommend!!

We have been here a few times over the years, however not for a while. What an absolute well oiled machine from the minute we booked till finished. All staff are friendly and talkative whilst efficient and not overbearing. We were served by the assistant manager who is fantastic but everyone were great. Food is very tasty and portions are good sizes and we were served at a good speed. It is not necessarily a cheap meal out but appropriately priced and great quality for the money. We will see you soon.

We really enjoyed our return to restaurant eating just before a Wigan RL home match against Leeds. Sadly, Wigan lost but the meal and service were excellent. :) Good quality, good portions and good value.

Tables was thick with sanitiser that hadent been washed off so much so the napkins stuck and ripped of the table, when question the manager she was quite abrupt. The food was no question it was lovely food what we had. Maybe try again at somepoint but yoh would think the manager would be more polite due to the past few month of being closed!
