High Moor Restaurant – WiganLovely food with excellent service, fantastic pirate ship for children coupled with superb entertainment for the children throughout the day. Would recommend to anybody. Mary.
Toby Tavern Bar & Grill – WiganFood excellent, bar staff excellent, staff couldn't be more helpful, 10/10
Toby Tavern Bar & Grill – WiganHad a fantastic evening tonight for 21st birthday celebrations, the food, service and entertainment was fantastic. Highly recommend dining here. Definitely will go again. 5 STAR QUALITY.
Gallimores – WiganHad the worst food ever at The Stables Cafeteria Haigh Hall today - left me feeling sick: A sorry excuse for a quiche, sour tasting potato salad, overpowering cole slaw, and a tea bag with milk and water in a cup. We felt fortunate that the sausage roll and chips never arrived. We complained and got our money back - only later realising they had charged us for the 'tea'. It was disgraceful that two older women left the young assistant to deal with our complaint. Will not be visiting again.
Haigh Courtyard Tea Room and Cafe – WiganWE HAD A FAMILY BIRTHDAY MEAL 6 ADULTS AND 4 CHILDREN SUNDAY EVENING. HAVE TO SAY THE SERVICE AND FOOD WAS FIRST CLASS WITH STAFF GOING THAT EXTRA BIT TO MAKE EVERYONES NIGHT MOST ENJOYABLE. WAS MY FIRST TIME BUT WILL BE THE FIRST OF MANY. THANK YOU AND WELL DONE.
Gallimores – WiganStopped going in as bar staff are off hand also the manager is rude and impolite. Food isn't that great waited ages and when it came it was cold. Bsr staff need training in social skills and customer service.
Toby Tavern Bar & Grill – WiganWe went to Cinnamon Standish as we had heard about a Sunday buffet offer that seemed too good to be true, it was, first of all we were made to wait for 10 minutes in a cramped foyer area, it's £8.95 for what is supposed to be a buffet, a buffet that offers a choice of just 2 starters & if you require poppadoms they are extra, we had 4 with a chutney tray at a cost of £4.90, the onion bhaji's & chicken tikka starters on offer were nice . The main course offers a choice of just 4 dishes with pilau rice & cardboard pretending to be nan bread, none of which are labelled & when I asked one of the waiters what the dishes were, he didn't know either, I had a brown dish that turned out to be lamb madras, so glad I didn't just plonk this lucky dip dish onto my 2 year olds plate, she would have screamed all night it was that hot, the dish itself was quite nice although the lamb was a little dried up, my wife had chicken tikka massala & despite the tub she got it from looking full, it was an effort to find the chicken but tasted ok . I was driving & my wife's pregnant so we only ordered soft drinks, for a glass which was about 3/4 pint of diet coke I think £3.00 is excessive . Overall the food we ate was generally ok, I don't think there's anywhere near enough choice to describe it as a buffet & labelling of meals would be helpful to customers, I was left waiting 5 minutes for a plate as there were none left when I went for my main course, not ideal . I don't think we'll be returning here as the food is better at other local Indian restaurants, the food on the buffet wasn't replenished regularly, the drinks were expensive & it's unnecessary to leave customers waiting in the small foyer area when 3/4 of the seats in the restaurant were empty .
Cinnamon Indian Cuisine – WiganJust a really nice place :)
La Giara – WiganWow great value for money and quality food!! Recently new mouth watering dishes have been added on to the menu which I have tried all of them and couldn't fault. Decoration sleek and warming atmosphere with lovely staff been coming here for over 10years. Never a problem with Buraq. FANTASTIC !!!!!!

The Fat Bull – WiganGreat place food lovely ,staff so nice. Only down fall need more toilets.
Summat To Ate – WiganHello. I have been in the cafe several times, food is excellent, reasonably priced and portion size is very good for a big appetite. Lovely surroundings to eat a full meal or a tasty little snack.
Haigh Courtyard Tea Room and Cafe – WiganBeen to stables cafe Haigh several times during the summer holidays. Good food good service really nice place to visit, they even had bowls and a sink for my dog 10/10.
Haigh Courtyard Tea Room and Cafe – WiganI had heard mixed reviews of this restaurant, so decided to give it a try. However when we arrived the outside looked really disgusting, dirty paint work and in general need of a good clean. I know it is wrong to judge on appearance, but my thought was if they can't look afterthe outside, what is everything else going to be like. We didn't bother going in, we went to the Chinese down the road.
Pasquale’s Italian Restaurant – WiganIt sounds full of potential but it quickly leaves you when you hit the first pothole in the car park. The facilities for children are desperatly in need of updating. The surrounding gardens require a little more compassion. Haigh hall itself looks sadly neglected. The stables cafe serves possibly the most disgusting cup of coffee in England.. Extremely Disappointing.
Haigh Courtyard Tea Room and Cafe – WiganGreat place lovely staff, fantastic food steaks to die for.
