The Delph – WrexhamLovely little restaurant and the food is always so good! Staff are very pleasant too. 10/10
The Delph – WrexhamThe staff were very polite and helpful, service could have been quicker. It was fairly quiet so I don’t know how the service would be if busy. The meal was very good with a good selection of meat and vegetables. The biggest disappointment was the price of drinks. We had a small glass of rose wine and half a Wrexham lager, and it was £16.11.
Hotel Wrexham – WrexhamDined off lunch menu. Good excellent as always. Refurbished restaurant wonderful and different. Staff working under refurbishment difficulties but managing fine. Looking forward to the finished bar/lounge area and new toilets. All very tastefully done.
Hotel Wrexham – WrexhamBeen there three times now, didn't even know it was there, what a find, been impressed every time, such a lovey gentleman greets you, all staff so friendly, and the food is amazing, my favourite place right now, we are local so they will be seeing alot more of us as can not fault in anyway, you won't be disappointed, thankyou Delph.
The Delph – WrexhamWe had Sunday lunch at Wrexham Hotel in the restaurant room’s temporary home last weekend. I don’t think the carvery was quite as tasty as usual (roast potatoes hardly roasted at all and were very pale) but as renovations are in full flow I can forgive on this occasion. Can’t wait to see the new bar renovations when completed.
Hotel Wrexham – WrexhamBooked for my father’s 80th birthday and couldn’t have asked for anything better. The staff were amazing and went out of their way to make it special. My dad had a lovely time. The food, service and atmosphere couldn’t have been better. Well done The Delph
The Delph – WrexhamI was quite disappointed with the meal, I found there weren’t any vegetables which were cooked properly the carrots and swede was very sloppy, the roast potatoes were cold and tough, the mini sausages were slightly undercooked. I have been a regular of the holt lodge for many years and although over the last couple of years it wasn’t at its best, it was always tasty. This week I found the food to be of a poor standard. Hopefully it will improve once all the decoration is completed as maybe this is affecting the Kitchen.
Hotel Wrexham – WrexhamFood was reasonable( nothing special) .I would have appreciated being told when booking that the dining room was under refurbishment and we would have known what to expect. I was bringing a guest as a special treat and it didn’t quite have the ambience I wanted for that occasion. Good luck for the future.I did attend the opening ceremony and have also visited for a meal a few weeks ago.regards.
Hotel Wrexham – WrexhamSecond visit because 1st visit was a disaster. Not the best again there were 2 of us as a couple we asked for 2 3 course carverys we had our drinks fine our starters fine then told to get our carvery which we enjoyed. We finished our lunch at 2.32 at 3pm we decided to forget desert or 2nd drinks the exact same thing happened last time it seems they dont want to serve desert. There were 10 staff the manager flaps about but doesnt seem to get anythi g done except for chatting to guests There were large tables with more covers so i imagine the thought is make sure theyr ok as theyr spending more money. I told the girl this at the till. All guests matter maybe one day youl only have a few tables for 2 then what?
Hotel Wrexham – WrexhamI book Sunday dinner for 5 pm we did not know you where doing a refurbishment ,the food was good as always. But you where a bit short of staff I noticed people waiting for drinks ,,for quite sometime .I come to pay my bill and the person in charge came over we are not serving the kitchen is closed ,he did not ask first what we wanted by the the bar ,there was one lady trying to do the till and run the bar and serve .I've been coming here for 20 year plus never a problem. I will be back to see if you have taken on board my comments.
Hotel Wrexham – WrexhamThere were 19 of us (Deeside Oddfellows) booked for Sunday lunch time on 1st September. We had a lovely warm welcome on arrival and the table was ready for us and laid beautifully. I have had mainly very positive comments about the food, staff and service. 3 of our party did say their meal wasn't very hot from the carvery although the gravy was. The rest of the group thoroughly enjoyed their meals and had no complaints at all. The starters, mains and desserts were of a good size, reasonably priced and very tasty. The service was good although myself and my husband had a long wait for our desserts as they had forgotten about them but we weren't in a hurry so it wasn't really an issue apart from the fact that we had to eat them when everyone else had finished plus it was sticky toffee pudding and so worth the wait! The staff were very apologetic and no fuss was made. Throughout our meal the staff were very friendly and helpful and considering we were a big group we were very happy with the service they gave us. We will definitely return and enjoy another meal there.
Hotel Wrexham – WrexhamHad a great night for our Dads 80th birthday.Great food, the staff were brilliant, nobody was ever waiting for food or drink all night.
Hotel Wrexham – WrexhamLunch. What a little gem of a place we found for a very yummy lunch. I visited yesterday with my mother in law and we ordered from the recently launched lunch menu and we were blown away from start to finish. Upon arriving we were greeted by a very charming and pleasant man, seated quickly and given time to look over the drinks menu. We were given recommendations and we were very happy with them. We ordered two starters to share, pate & cheesy garlic bread… we were shocked when the food arrived as the portions were huge. 4 slices of thick garlic bread and a hearty portion of pate. Our only thought was had we only had the pate each the two slim slices of toasted bread wasn’t quite matching up to the large portion of pate but as we had the garlic bread this wasn’t an issue. Our mains were fish & chips and the burger. Again portion sizes were fantastic, the food was piping hot and all presented nicely. The plates were a little small for the large portions but nevertheless fantastic meals! We will certainly be visiting again as overall, staff being the gentleman on reception and the young waitress who served us also were fantastic. Food was brilliant and it was very reasonably priced! Can’t wait to visit again :-) Many thanks!!
The Delph – WrexhamOur group had a warm welcome with excellent service. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal will certainly visit again.
Hotel Wrexham – WrexhamLove going to this pub for Sunday lunch it’s a beautiful location the staff are excellent and so is the food and it doesn’t cost the earth.
Royal Oak – WrexhamEnjoyed a lovely Sunday lunch at Horel Wrexham last Sunday - our first visit. The service was outstanding, our beautiful soup starter and mains carvery were superb, and great value for money. Well done to you all, having such a busy day with a wedding on site too. Excellent and will be glad to recommend
Hotel Wrexham – WrexhamThe service was excellent, staff very pleasant and polite. Excellent value for money. Sunday Carvery had a great choice, the only thing I would say is that the food wasn’t boiling hot. This did not put me off but I would have liked it hotter.
