Really good pub meal. Prompt friendly service. Food excellent. Fish and amazing chunky chips, good veggie lasagne and a pie.

Thank you for this opportunity to review our meal at the Rafters Bar & Grill. We numbered four in our party and Rafters had been recommended to us. Upon arrival we were greeted by Megan who appeared genuinely pleased to see us and arranged the seating and table to best suit a wheelchair user. Indeed, Megan made everything come together at exactly the right time. Menu - Drinks - Orders’ - Starters - Main - Dessert - Tea or Coffee. At no time did we feel hurried or pressured and enjoyed a leisurely meal. The meals themselves were well presented and of good quality ingredients. We enjoyed our visit greatly and shall definitely be returning soon. Highly recommended.

We were met by Meghan who was a delightful hostess. Explained the menus etc. got my wife and I drinks and we ordered our starters and main courses. The meals were excellent in quality. Meghan was wonderful. A great lunch. Truly recommend lunch at HOLT LODGE HOTEL.

Our first visit for the carvery, very disappointed,meat was lovely but the roast potatoes were soggy, cauliflower cheese was sparse, couldn't be bothered waiting,my husband waited ten minutes for more, parsnips were sitting in fat,I was really looking forward as the setting is beautiful

Great Sunday lunch!

Took my Mum for afternoon tea as we had been before a couple of months the ago. We arrived at 1pm as I had pre booked. The place was deserted, we shouted hello but nothing. After a couple of minutes we walked through to reception. Then a waitress appeared. We were the only ones there so no atmosphere. Last time they had already prepared our afternoon tea so brought it out with the drinks which was great. This time the drinks were brought out then we waited about half an hour before the food came which meant that our drinks were now cold so we had to order more. The waitress was lovely but we won't be going again sadly. Don't understand why there never seems to be anyone else there.

Our party of four enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea at Holt Lodge yesterday. The food was delicious and the service excellent It certainly was an excellent way to celebrate the birthdays of two ladies with their husbands. Many thanks.

Staff were very friendly and were very accommodating for my sister who has special dietary requirements telling her exactly what was in the meals and offering to make changes and substitutions to accommodate her :)

Very warm welcome to the pub for us and our 2 dogs. Food was very reasonable price and of a good standard. Quite quiet at 18.00 but friendly and relaxed atmosphere and excellent service.

Tasty Sunday lunch enjoyed by ourselves and friends

Nice surroundings. Staff amenable. However, stood waiting to check in for meal and was overtaken by another person entering after us who the staff proceeded to serve. I pointed out that I had been waiting and she then gave me her attention and showed us to our table. Meal generally good and tasty but there was a bit of an imbalance between vegetables, primary root - quite a lot and beef (minimal number of slices). Pudding delicious

Lovely Father's Day carvery. Gorgeous food and very friendly waitress and chef made all the difference.

Lovely family meal here on a Sunday. Great value for money, especially the £10 roasts and service was good too!

Wonderful place staff very polite not over friendly but thats good food was amazing did have an issue but was sorted extreamly promptly by shaun will definitely be back a must if in Wrexham
