Delicious fresh food and welcoming friendly staff

I recently discovered The Olive and it was an absolute delight! From the moment I walked in, the quirky decor and unique ambiance set the stage for a memorable dining experience. The staff was incredibly attentive, making sure we felt welcomed and well taken care of throughout our meal. Now, let’s talk about the food—simply amazing! Each dish was not only delicious but also nutritious and fresh, bursting with flavours that danced on the palate and in your mouth. It was clear that a lot of thought and care went into the menu, which made it quite a challenge to decide what to order. I found myself wanting to try everything! I can't wait to return and work my way through the entire menu. If you're looking for a place that offers a combination of great food, a fun atmosphere, and exceptional service, The Olive is a must visit!

Great food wonderful service i was particularly pleased to see a new member of the team a young gentleman with some mental health problems (sorry don't know how to word that properly) working in such a well known Brasserie well done you

Had a lovely lunch recently. First time for my husband who was impressed with his meal. Different to the norm . Very tasty and place was full which says it all really. Thank you

Helpful staff, good food and a cosy atmosphere.

2nd mezze evening meal visit and just as fabulous as the first. Love the atmosphere, very friendly helpful service and the food takes the win. A firm favourite, highly recommended for breakfast/brunch/lunch or evening dining.

The afternoon tea was wonderful the food was delicious and thank you for doing ham and cheese for us fussy ones and crisps too! The food, atmosphere and staff were fantastic thank you so much

Went out for an incredible evening meal had the set menu for 2. It was beautiful from the way it looked to the last mouthful. Huge portions of the most delicious food paired with a fabulous Rioja what more could you want. The atmosphere was cosy and welcoming and the service was attentive and extremely friendly.

First visit and will definitely return. Food was delicious one of the nicest brunches I’ve had. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Lovely decor and quiet location. Highly recommend can’t wait to revisit and try the lunch menu.

Fabulous food - imaginative, delicious and beautifully presented

What a great find. A friend recommended Olive and we booked at short notice for lunch. The atmosphere is lovely and calm and all the staff were helpful, smiling and efficient. The food was knock out. I had the pork belly which was superb and husband had the pulled lamb which he declared outstanding. Will be back shortly and will be bringing chums

Excellent service and food

Great food. Helpful staff. Lovely atmosphere, warm and comfortable. However forgot our drinks. Eventually got them just before the food came. All OK until the bill came and we had to pay for drinks seperately as they weren't added to the table. Oh and we tried to pay for all drinks but bill missed one off so we got it free! Just a tad chaotic.

Second visit for me and first for friends that joined me. All very impressed. The service was great and friendly even though some of the girls were new. Food was so tasty and very fresh. See you again soon.

Excellent food as always: so many flavours mixed beautifully. The freshly pressed juices were also fabulous and worth the work!
