Fabulous food - imaginative, delicious and beautifully presented

What a great find. A friend recommended Olive and we booked at short notice for lunch. The atmosphere is lovely and calm and all the staff were helpful, smiling and efficient. The food was knock out. I had the pork belly which was superb and husband had the pulled lamb which he declared outstanding. Will be back shortly and will be bringing chums

Excellent service and food

Great food. Helpful staff. Lovely atmosphere, warm and comfortable. However forgot our drinks. Eventually got them just before the food came. All OK until the bill came and we had to pay for drinks seperately as they weren't added to the table. Oh and we tried to pay for all drinks but bill missed one off so we got it free! Just a tad chaotic.

Second visit for me and first for friends that joined me. All very impressed. The service was great and friendly even though some of the girls were new. Food was so tasty and very fresh. See you again soon.

Excellent food as always: so many flavours mixed beautifully. The freshly pressed juices were also fabulous and worth the work!

Wow! The food here is amazing. We had Avocado and aubergine focaccia - incredible and Aubergine borani which was fantastic. The flavours are wonderful. Service is brilliant and coffee is fab. Relaxed atmosphere so feels really comfortable. I use all 3 cafes in this group - Old Dairy cafe at Bower Hinton and Canteen at Perrys in Dowlish Wake and the food and service is excellent in all 3.

Absolutely outstanding food: so many different flavours. Our favourite place to eat and so local!

Unfortunately we had to cancel our booking last week but managed to pop in for lunch this weekend. We had the mezze and it was just amazing. I can honestly say, the food at The Olive is beyond excellent! This is the second review I’ve given but I just had to because it’s SO good.

Nice cosy atmosphere even in winter. Amazing food with middle eastern flavours.
