We visited on a Monday and had the lunchtime special. The four people in our party each had spring rolls which were honestly the best I've ever had, lovely and crispy and packed with flavoursome veggies, one had meat and said they were delicious. Between us we had chow mein, lemon chicken, sweet and sour chicken and chicken curry...a bit of a theme there... and there was ample food, plenty to satisfy us all. Rounded off with coffee, a bargain. Staff were lovely and very friendly and efficient with it. It's certainly one of our favourite places to eat deserving a 10 out of 10 !

We almost always go for dim sum: it is well cooked, well presented and is very tasty. There is a good variety and it is easy to choose from clear pictures on the menu. The waiters will always help, too. London restaurants may have trollies so that you can choose from the real thing, but the whole experience in York is at least as good, if not better. Whether you are a regular diner or a newcomer you'll enjoy your meal.

Been coming here for decades and, while we miss things like the little table heaters keeping the food hot and hot towels to wipe your fingers and hands at the end of the meal, the service has only improved over the years and is now friendly, welcoming and efficient, and the food has always been consistently good. Obviously that's why we keep coming back! Thoroughly recommended.

Yesterday, I took my child and his friends to the restaurant for a birthday celebration. We brought our own cake and utensils. The staff was incredibly attentive—they proactively cleared our table, provided a fresh set of tableware, and even played a birthday song for us. Other guests applauded, making it a truly surprising and heartwarming experience. I deeply appreciate the staff's outstanding hospitality and warm service!

Had a wonderful meal last weekend for a birthday celebration for my wife. Service was quick, food was hot and the portion sizes were plentiful. So much so, that we still had some left after we felt full. Staff were friendly and very helpful.

Booked for a hen party. Staff were super helpful with dietary requirements and the food! Oh my, it was delicious and such a good price for how much we got, everyone loved it. It’s a shame we aren’t local as would definitely be here all the time! 10/10

Wow.....what a brilliant find, small,quirky and utterly wonderful. The food we has was amazing, 5 small plates that were individually perfect and a cheese board that was tempting us into a second cheese board! The deserts were beyond compare, especially my sticky toffee pudding. Service, unfortunatly i didnt get the brilliant waitresses name but she was bright, positive and just a joy to be served by. Made the visit special. Only tiny negative, the room we were in was exceptional but being sat at a very large, almost office like, glass table that would have seated 6 or more when there were only the two of us was a little odd, felt like somewhere to be interviewed not to eat a fantastic meal. Overall we loved this place and will definately be back
