Our yearly visit to maxis as we pass through to Scarborough, good dim sum, mixed seafood on crispy noodles was good but noodle cut quite short, roast meat on rice , was 5 for the duck and char siu but the crispy roast pork was very dry, overall a nice Cantonese meal with friendly service

Charming, quaint, quirky place with lovely friendly staff (we had a lovely young blond lady who served us, sorry didn't learn her name) Food was delicious- small plates so loads of choice and everything we had was delicious Nice wine too. Would definitely recommend

Outstanding food and service as always. I had requested help selecting options due to my dietary restrictions on the booking form and on arrival a menu had been prepared for me. Nothing was too much trouble. Really enjoyed the music selection and atmosphere as well.

We had a table for 4 booked at 5pm Sunday 27.07.25, the restaurant was quiet! The service was shocking, we have been many times but we have never had one main dish but no rice 15 minutes before the other 3 mains came to the table also with out rice. The 1 st main rice turned up just after the remaining mains but the other mains that had ordered rice had to wait a further 10 minutes for their rice to come to the table by which time some dishes had started to congeal. Pint of Coca Cola was flat and had to be replaced. The food was great but the service and atmosphere were appalling An expensive night for a poor evening

Love Maxis. Travelled from Pontefract for another great meal. It was quite busy for a weekday mid afternoon but staff were friendly and we didn’t wait long for our food, the busy atmosphere added to the atmosphere.

I keep coming back to Omni. Yes it’s not the cheapest meal, but it’s so worth it. Each dish is genuinely delicious, the atmosphere is relaxed, the staff have a smile on their faces, despite us taking forever to make a decision about what to eat! Eating here feels like an occasion.

Gemma and her team always provide you with a fabulous welcome and great service throughout. The menu is imaginative and caters for all with plenty of variety (very good gluten free choices) - the food is stunning. We have eaten here many times and the standard is always maintained. Extensive drinks menu too. Whether booking a meal or going for drinks you won't be disappointed.

This was my favorite Chinese restaurant during the three years my son was studying in York. We will miss this restaurant sooooo much.

Outstanding all round. From the delicious food to the fantastic staff. The atmosphere was great, clean and tidy bar. Highly recommend. If I am ever down in Malton again I will be making a stop here.
