Having eaten at The Lime House recently, I have to say that it was one of the best meals I have eaten. The choice of dishes made it extremely hard to choose and I shall certainly return to try something different. The food was excellently cooked and well presented and the staff friendly and helpful.

We have been visiting this fantastic little restaurant for a few years now and never once have we had a bad meal there...the waiters are extremely friendly and the atmosphere is pure Italian. Good food, Good wine...The best thing I can say is try it for yourselves...I don? think you will be disappointed! Many of our family and friends have latched on to this place and keep going back time after time...Say no more!

My husband and I can not go to York for the weekend without have a meal at the Lime House the food is just to die for, why the chef has not applied for his Michelin stars I don’t know. The best desert you can ever have in your life is the Assiette of Chocolate – A trio of Chocolate if you’re a chocoholic you would love this desert. We are going back again at the beginning of May so please Lime House do not take the Assiette of Chocolate off your menu Thank you

I have lived in York for a number of years now and alongside Oscars, Bobo has to be one of the best places to eat and party! A definite must for all who like something a bit different and the food is outstanding.

If you want excellent food in a pretentious atmosphere then look elsewhere. If what you like is superb food with attention to detail, quality and service - this is the place. A cheap meal it is not. A superb meal where very penny seems well spent is how we think of the place. A few days before eating here we were at a Michelin starred restaurant (which had better remain nameless). The lasting impression from there was 'nice try - but the price!'. At the Crab and Lobster we went away with the 'must come again' feeling. I rest my case....
