I hadn't been here for over 20 years, decided to go with my family for an evening meal and we all enjoyed it very much. Delicious food, fast and efficient service and pleasant atmosphere. Would very much recommend it.

Second time at Ømni and it was just as amazing as the first. Every dish was a taste sensation full of imagination, lovely atmosphere, friendly service (thank you for being a very dog-friendly restaurant) and there are still plenty of dishes we want to try so we'll be back...

Every time I'm in York area with my partner it has become a tradition to visit maxis for some scran. The restaurant is lovely and spacious, and the staff are always attentive and polite. To back this up the food is always amazing and a good portion, if you can ask for the Chinese menu .. the hotpot dishes, salted fish fried rice, three meat delicacy (i think it's called) are definite highlights for me. Oh yeah don't forget some prawn crackers too ... already looking forward to my next visit

I went on 15th of may the place was as always it was and still is a wonderful place the food was nice and hot it was just as good as I remember the staff were wonderful I am going again in the next few weeks

Maxi's is fantastic. This time we went for the special lunch which is a real bargain. Nice selection and excellent food. Apart from the lovely meal, a real bonus is the staff. They are really helpful and friendly. We will definitely be going back soon :)

Booked for a meal for our anniversary, food was perfect, cocktails were amazing and all of the staff were polite, friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Will definitley be returning, great little place to have in town.

A wonderful venue for a family celebration, excellent service, fabulous food a gem to have in the town.

First visit in a while and very good to be back. Always incredibly friendly and efficient staff. The food was delicious and when they warn you the dishes come out when ready, they can be very spaced out, eg steak and the monkfish came out when nearly everything else was finished, but all definitely worth the wait - and you can always order more to go with them!

My new favourite local place but brought along 2 newbies - for business. Not disappointed and my first timer colleagues were blown away by the flavours. The brilliant thing about a Yorkshire Tapas, is no "menu envy" as multiple dishes to try and to share. Personal favourite this time - monkfish Thermidor. Omni's flexible menu means it's ideal for a mid week alternative from dinner at home. We'll be back again very soon.

Overall an enjoyable experience for a special occasion. They serve a wide choice of tapas dishes. Most were diverse, innovative and well executed, although a few had sold out. What disappointed was the huge variation in portion size and price. Generally all were overpriced and some were undersized. We liked the excellent service and the ambience. Drinks prices were OK.
