Very pleasant service and atmosphere in Bregans yesterday. A party of cyclists had just arrived so we had to wait a while to be served but the waitress apologised as did the owner! Not a problem the coffee and hot chocolate were delicious and the menu made me want to return. One gripe, though, the scones were definnitely not homemade. What a pity!

Do not go ! I recently visited over the weekend , would anyone think it would be hard to poach an egg correctly obviously bregans. The food was appalling obviously cooked by someone who has no experience . The waitresses looked idiotic in flowery aprons obviously owned by a eccentric owner the only good thing was that I got out without food poisoning ! Scruffy inside and ridiculously priced

I recently visited Bregans on Sunday the place looks immaculate, I was a regular at the previous cafe which was named marmalade and it was considerably better. One of the waitresses I already knew was on top form and couldn't fault her or the other two waitresses working . I will definitely be going back . The only thing that I could fault is they should open in evenings I would be a definite regular .

If you have a choice then don't go anywhere near this cafe. Service slow, waitresses serve you that have not been trained, staff don't have answers to questions, the food is poor and generally bad value for money. Our experience lasted for 1 hour, to order 2 sandwiches, and a pot of tea, the order was delivered incomplete, and the lunch experience was the worst I have ever had, and the cafe only had 10 tables full
