Eat here regularly and food is superb. Very varied menu with carvery every day and kids eat free at weekends. Homemade curries a speciality.

I went with my wife and we tried their new raclette stone grill- haven't had one of these since we went skiing in France. Such a novel idea to do it in UK, don't know any where else that does it. It was fun to cook your own food on the hot stone and then melt your cheese over the potatoes. We had a lovely time and service was good- made me miss the Alps though! Only downside was they didn't have the wine we wanted but they did have a good alternative. Will go be back definitely.

Trust me, I go to this pub pretty much every weekend I love it! its always such a great enviroment and the owners and their dog are lovely! and if your thinking of going there then I would seriously recomend the chocolate browny!

Just arrived home from my first and definitely last visit to the "new" Britannia (Marlow).We were greeted by a very friendly waiter who unfortunately sat us on a table next to a electronic gambling machine. An hour and a half had passed and we still hadn't received our food. Our waiter came over to ask us if we had our food, we then explained that we hadn't. We also had no drinks. He came back to the table and said that the food had been ruined by the chefs and was being cooked again. We waited for another 15 minutes. The manager arrived at our table with an apology. When the food eventually arrived the two steak dishes that my family had ordered were nicely cooked (although were strangely served with two metal bowls of butter). We also asked for mustard which we were told they didn't have.I had ordered the steak and ale pie which was so burned and blackened that I had to call the manager again and send it back. It had clearly been sat on the pass under the heat whilst the other dishes were being re-done. In the end I ended up having nothing. The manager kindly didn't charge us for either the drinks or the meal, but the whole ordeal was embarrassing and a complete shambles.Two words: VERY DISAPPOINTING!

Love this place, great carvery on a sunday, proper quality food and great value. The staff are very nice and helpful too. An all round good pub experience! highly recommended.
