We came to Valentinos 28th Jan for the dinner and salsa evening it really was great fun my friends and i all had a fab meal and had a good try at dancing the salsa, great night out and WILL be back, very welcoming and superb food washed down with great wine THUMBS UP! just what reading needs. :)

The best Mexican/Italiano/Indian Cuisine where I can see the food being cooked in front, Loved the atmosphere and club at the weekends, friendly staff, good sized portions and excellent cocktail buckets, Highly recommended to wine and dine.

Luuuuurve it, what a wonderful proper pub

This restaurant is under new ownership and is now a fabulous Italian restaurant, called Valentinos. You must check it out. They also do takeaway.

Absolutely delicious. I visited this restaurant after receiving a menu through the post. Normally i ignore these, but this menu was just so beautifully presented i was tempted in to visiting. As I didn't wan't a big meal i ordered two starters: Chicken pakora and somosa's. And my god, the heavenly tastes in my mouth just told me to order a main. I ordered my favourite curry, chicken Dhansak and I can honestly say I have never tasted a Dhansak like this. My mouths just watering writing about it!I must comment on the décor as well!!. The pink wallpaper and the black wallpaper is just so pretty. I think I may just have to steal the colour scheme and design for my own house. And if I could put a tropical fish tank in the middle just as the owner did, I would do the same.I think this restaurant has gained a new regular - a table by the stunning fish tank please ;)

Warm welcome for us and the dog. Lovely food and relaxed atmosphere. We wish it was closer to home. The perfect end to a lovely walk in the woods.

A very traditional pub with a warm and welcoming atmosphere set in a beautiful location. Even muddy boots are welcome. The staff are very friendly and attentive and understand the meaning of service. The menu is what one would wish of a country pub with the food being beautifully prepared and presented. It is a real ale pub with 4 well kept ales. In winter the interior is warm with an open fire. For the summer, the garden overlooking fields is sheltered and comfortable with plenty of room. I hope the current landlord will stay for a long time.
