If you haven't tried Jimmy Spice's yet you are in for a treat. This restaurant is on Regency Wharf at the city-centre end of Broad Street and overlooks Gas Street Basin. It's a distinctive enough setting for an eatery that offers in buffet terms a unique experience. The chefs are experienced and it shows in the variety and quality of the meals they prepare for what is sometimes a surprising and exciting range of Italian, Chinese, Indian and Thai dishes. All the favourites are there, the classic Chinese meals, the Italian pastas, the Indian curries, and a clutch of Thai delights, plus a host of salads and other side dishes that leave you spoilt for choice. There is nothing here to alienate the average diner and everything is made with an eye on what is popular and well-known about these four recognised cuisines. You have the starters and the desserts too and I have it on good authority that the desserts are made in-house by an expert pastry chef. The staff are super-friendly without being interfering and will willingly engage with you about any issue that arises during the time you spend here. It isn't any wonder that there is always a kind of buzz in the air in this place. Children are welcome and seem to love being here. They add as much to the liveliness of the goings-on as the birthday party sing-a-longs and banter between the customers. At the moment there is a half-price wine offer on which makes eating here incredibly good value. It's a great venue for businesses and families and small groups including couples but as you can imagine the seating arrangements in a buffet of this size aren't particularly suited to intimate tête-à -têtes. It's best to go with the flow and share in the vibrant atmosphere — and Jimmy Spice's has atmosphere — the lively central kitchen area where the chefs prepare the food and knock out stir fries with consummate skill ensures there is never a dull moment.

Went for my second visit on a Sat lunchtime. Disappointing to say the least, hardly any choice compared to the evening. Sweet and Sour chicken was in a sauce which can only be compared to water. Then to top it all off they claimed my card was invalid (It works everywhere else) embarrassingly I had to borrow money of friends to pay for the meal, which was supposed to be my treat. Would I go again. Definitely not!!!!!

Went to Jimmy Spices for my cousins birthday a few months back, totally loved it. Going back there next weekend for a college re-union.

We actually ate at the Solihull branch of Jimmy Spice. The food was Ok, nothing special, lots of it but I would prefer quality rather than quantity. It was £12.95 PP which was ok but watch out for the price of lager. We had Cobra and it was £4.95 per bottle which I felt was rather steep. Would I go again? ...... probably not.

We went here on a party last Saturday, the place was heaving at 9pm! We were queuing up outside the place! Anyway staff were best I?e had to get attention to detail in a buffet restaurant, very upmarket now! Very electric atmosphere with great music. Much recommended!

People love this place. It's a buffet on a grand scale. Chinese, Thai, Indian and Italian cuisines. There's
an energy here. And with the recent
changes to the interior it's now more
stylish than ever.
Lashings of the exotic.
A varied menu with something for everyone.
You can't miss the chefs, slicing vegetables, and exercising their skills at the central cooking station. The sizzle and flames above the hobs add to the lively atmosphere of a popular corporate and family venue with winning international appeal.

I went to Jimmy Spices with a few friends and thought it fantastic. The food was very very good, with a big choice and the service was spot on.
I eat out quite often and must say that this is one of a kind.
Highly recommended.
