Al's Tikka Grill has been a favorite of ours for several years. It is the Hungry Bite Cafe in the daytime, and changes to Indian cuisine after 6.00 pm. The quality of the meat in the dishes is excellent, the prices are reasonable and the service is cheerful. The nan bread is all home cooked and absolutely delicious. They charge £1.50 corkage per table on wine or beer that you bring yourself, which again keeps costs down. Not surprisingly, they are very popular at the weekend, when service takes substantially longer as they cater for a takeaway trade as well as restaurant customers. Go in the weekday, and enjoy an excellent meal!
