the unicorn has a new manager and also a new head chef and "my god" what a difference they are making already? the pub is clean,welcoming and the staff allways have a smile on there faces, i ate there last night and the food was top restaurant standard with a pub price!! will recommend all my friends to go and sample the food it was outstanding

Pity to see a good eatery/pub going downhill. Whole place is looking tired; food no where near as good as it used to be - low quality, microwave nosh. Staff did try quite hard though

Don't go to this pub. A new landlady has recently took over and she is the rudest person I have ever met. More and more staff are leaving because of her and I don't blame them. Get this woman out of the Unicorn Inn and bring someone in who can speak to people like they are human!

This appears to be a cute little pub off the back streets of Wilmslow, until you walk through the doors to be greeted by the owner surprisingly enough he owns the pub, you'll understand why I say surprisingly if you ever visit this place. The food is of bad quality and yet when you try to give constructive criticism they not only don't want to hear it, they are rude! You would at least expect good pub food, nothing more but you won't get that, the reason I am writing this is not to put you off as it is a cute pub and is especially nice in the summer. But please improve firstly the quality of food and secondly a warm welcome and fully trained staff aren't difficult to get right and really will turn the place around. If someone had dealt with my complaint on the night writting this would be necessary but I left outraged!
