Delicious new menu served in a warm and relaxing environment.

Love the new look in Purdeys with the Oak tables and open fire. It feels cosy and inviting. I love the new style of menu.

we had booked into the hotel on BB rate, and decided to east in Purdey's ... it was fantastic ... the new menu was great and i was glad to see they are using local suppliers and ingredients .... you could definitely tell in the quality of the food. we will definitely return to the hotel and most definitely return to Purdey's when we do. Had a GREAT meal in Purdey's Restaurant ate off the TDH Menu, which had a wide range of choice. Will stay in hotel next time we are in the Lake District as there are some brilliant facilites including Health & Beauty Salon which the wife wants to use!!!

had a great time would recommend it to all age. there is something for everyone to do. The food was very good ate in Purdey's one night with my wife and in the Terrace with the whole family the other night.

Was just passing and went to have a look round the estate! We had something to eat on the terrace the menu had something for the whole family. We have just booked to stay in the hotel and can't wait to try the leisure facilities.

I was very impressed with the facilities at the Langdale country club and it couldn't be in a better spot to access the surrounding countryside. The spa facilities were first class and I loved the features in the rooms; wi-fi, plasma screens, state of the art jacuzzi baths, heated floors and for a man who can't be bothered to pack properly a built in iron and board on the bathroom wall! I know this is a dining guide so I'm going the eat there next time, so watch this space!
